Thanks for suggesting the movie. I remember seeing an advertisement and made a mental note to look for it in theatres and I don’t think on the states they did much to promote. Besides, I would never miss a movie with Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt. This is like missing March Ides in reference to George Clooney and Ryan Gosling. Also, a eye opener.

Brad Pitt doesn’t look like Brad Pitt in this film. Ryan Gosling plays a good part, as does Steve Carrell, although as ever Christian Bale is excellent.
It was an excellent cast. Bale exhibits his acting range. Carrell was the ultimate empath.
She definitely was, patient and kind. I rarely notice the traits of empaths. It doesn’t stand out I think because it’s supposed to be normal in my small world.
You are right Brad doesn’t look like his self in movie neither did he in money ball. He went up in my estimation after his rant. He was entirely justified.
The technician or whoever he was, was know for being something of a tool anyway. When a scene is being filmed, it is protocol for everyone to remain still (other than those in the scene) so as to not distract the actors. If you are “in the zone” for your scene and carrying out your role and somebody is moving around and distracting you, it is annoying and bad-mannered. Bale was justified in his response. Other people supported his stance and he cleared the air with the individual afterwards as well, which was gracious of him.

A nightmare is hopefully over. Our last two fiscally irresponsible big government leaders greatly increased our debt. #43 added 5 trillion and #44 added 11 trillion. Yes we essentially have a $20 trillion debt. Bush left it at $30k per citizen and Obama has left us at $69,340 per citizen.
I believe in a strong military, liberals protested Bush policies, but were silent while Obama dropped over 100,000 bombs on the middle east. In Iraq alone over 1 million people have been killed. To put that in terms of the the US it would = 162 million people. A 9/11 everyday for 15 years, and that is just one country.
We have the lowest labor participation rate in 27 years. There are now 95 million people (18-65) that could work but are not. The important number to look at is actual labor hours. 2007-2015 we saw no change in labor hours, but added 20 million people of working age. So many millineals don’t have jobs or only have part time jobs. They make 20% less than the same job 20 years ago.
Home ownership is down 5.6%
Poverty has increased 3.5%
Incomes are down 2.3%
15 million more people are on food stamps that is a 39% increase.

If every quarter I reported on my business taxes that I loss more than I invested of course I will benefit. Additionally, I have a full time job in the public sector and the only exemptions I claim is my property taxes and a few work related travel expenses. I have direct debits coming from my account monthly to support several non profits. There are set limits on how much you can claim on donations. Again, if you are dishonest you can claim the max. I doubt very seriously if you have 2 kids you are not paying more into the system than I am. Nevada and California taxes are completely different. This will be last response to your irrelevant ass.

I think POTUS will lose interest in running the country when it becomes tedious and he gets diminishing returns on the fuel supply. Personally, HG, I think he’s going to go a really long distance with accomplishing what he wants to achieve, because I think we have too many chicken shits that are still set in the “Politically Correct” frame of thinking. At some point, however, I do believe that, collectively, they will all come together and take a stand, but only after much damage has been done. I think it will take a hell of a long time for that to happen though because the majority of the other politicians (even some of those who are narcs themselves) and society doesn’t see, or are in denial, of what he’s truly capable of doing. With that said, as a US citizen, I want my president to succeed. Although I did not vote for him (nor Hillary – I went the 3rd man), I still hope he does make a difference, but that ultimately, it’s for the good. I’ve yet to see any good so far, however, I have to give him a chance. I really have no choice. He’s who the people voted for and now we have to live with that decision.

Exactly, they will feel the same if not worse then what happened in 2007-2008 when a lot of people lost their homes , 401ks and much more the same people in his cabinet were responsible for the recession. At the time I was in a field where we weren’t affected but we’re responsible for providing businesses with resources and free encyclopedia grants and workers to keep their doors open. Also, we had the daunting task of trying to find jobs or retrain people from financial, transportation, construction, automotive and other collapsing industries.

When I travel to other countries, I always engage with people. A taxi driver from the Middle east in Sweden or a Masai Tribesman in the Masai Mara. A Barrister from Canada or a business owner in Mexico. I have talked to people from all over the world. It is an amazing mind thought when you see it through their eyes. You can understand why they feel and think like they do.
I just hosted a friend from Sweden, boy did her eyes open up. She only knew what her media told her about our country, it is no different then what we are fed about the world.

I love the “small entrepreneur” “movement” and social business. I’m writing a book for people who want to change something in this context. I added yesterday a chapter for hypersensitive and empathic people – those who truly want to help and improve matters and lack the self-centeredness and self-protection of narc-like people. For the ones who have learned to do everything for other poeple and not for their own ideas.

That’s great, did you post it on this blog? Yes, they are pretty much the same corporations. I often wonder why they were major participants in the U.N. summits part of the 150 world leaders. I am definitely for small businesses and entrepreneurs that contribute to betterment of communities and enhancing the lives of others. I feel bad for the small farmer’s they have put them out of business. I buy my meat and produce from local farms . I don’t want a chick that turns to a chicken in 2 days. When someone who has not paid into the system has more rights then a vet, getting housing, health care, money to start over and they are NOT citizens, then there is a problem here.

If you understood how much money leaves our nation and the fact we are in wars in countries, we should not be in then perhaps you will have hope that he will make a difference. Understand we go in and buy the land we set up camps and bases, and build infrastructure and then leave it all behind without any compensation, with our tax dollars, all in the name of democracy. Our own infrastructure is in bad shape, and my father told me this over 20 years ago. Trump is not telling tales on this.
Don’t you want a nation that is strong and vital? We can then reach out hands to assist others without destroying ourselves. Help the ones that respect our culture of this great Nation. Help the ones who do not want to come in to change our freedom. Take a good look at Europe and what is going on with the OPEN borders.

I have no idea what the future will bring for people like me. I am not so worried about Trump as I am about his cabinet members. Especially his Secratary of Defense, Mad Dog, who’s been quoted to say “it is fun to shoot people”. And who was lauded for warring in countries the US shouldn’t have been in. But I am a survivor and have experienced much worse in my life. Knowing I cannot change anything, I have to face all that is coming head on.

In regards to OPEN borders in Europe. They are Not so open as you believe.
If you are speaking about the Syrian crisis and their movement to Europe, my heart bleeds for those people. It is the greatest humanitarian crises in history!!! If you knew what travesty they are facing and even worse what conditions they’re being smuggled to Europe, then you’d understand it is not a luxurious get-away for anyone.
In regards to other immigrants in Europe: keep in mind that European nations colonized a lot of countries. In my opinion, they reaped what they sowed.
It is a crisis for sure. But we have our own citizens in need. I would like to help them first.

But in all earnestness, HG, if the ‘good doctors’ and you are successful at removing the current construct and replacing it with something healthy and sustainable, you need to learn about basic principles, the foundations a relationship is built upon.
Equality is the most important aspect of any healthy, loving, long-term bond. Everything else, such as trust and respect, is based on it. If you cannot see another as your equal, and respect her as the independent person she is (not an appliance!), there is no hope for you that you will ever escape your current, zombie-like existence. NONE whatsoever.
You can never truly rule over another, that’s an illusion you will have to lay to rest. Even if it appeared that you had the upper hand, as she might be too tired to fight you, you have no control over her inner most feelings and thoughts of defiance and escape. And escape they all do, long before they are physically gone! Think about that.
It is equality. But also learning to tolerate what it feels like to have no control over anyone, and just sitting there in those feelings. To turn from needing to control to finding a whole lot of beauty and freedom in not controling. Deep self tolerance and acceptance.
Absolutely! I have had to learn that myself… that my way is not the only way… that nothing is lost if you give others the space to express themselves… you might even enjoy it as you learn to see things from a different perspective… but it has to happen within a framework of rules both agree up on and *adhere* to, which brings us back to equality.

The Cartoon Network exists, or used to. That would suggest cartoons are real. The offspring of Godzilla is ridiculous. Bringing a kid into a show to freshen it up is also ridiculous.
