That’s for sure… if my Narc was losing a game, he’d get mad and throw the board and the pieces all over the place. If it was a video game he would shut it off. I was surprised when we were playing cards with a friend of his and the friend would win a hand occasionally. I kept waiting for him to throw a tantrum, but he did not. I guess the tantrums were saved for me?

I swear, the older I get I have a much lower tolerance (by lower I mean practically no tolerance) for games. It’s transparent and a waste of time and energy.
Life is far too short to spend every single day miserable and dead inside with a shithead who only cares about himself. If you wrote down a list of pros and cons about the relationship I can assure you the cons significantly outnumber the pros.
People used to ask me for years “why do you love him?” or “what are some positive things you like or love about him?” I never had an answer. I would just stare at them and go “I don’t know.” I couldn’t think of anything that I loved about him.
