    HG,

I took your recommendation and read Sitting Target. I think I was avoiding this.
In reading along on your blog, the *truth*, while painful, was mostly acceptable – palatable – given what I’ve gone through…what so many of us have gone through. But when your insights began to hint at what really may have happened in the beginning…I didn’t want to examine it too closely; nevermind accept it.

At least when I’ve had to tell some of my story to others (post formal relationship) and describe the deterioration of the relationship…I could always cling to the illusion of ‘the beginning.’
People would ask, “But how did you meet him?” and I would say “Well, actually…*that* is a nice story…”

So I thought. I guess I have to let that illusion go as well; the reality of what you lay out in Sitting Target rings too true.

At this moment I really don’t like you HG, despite having great respect for your work and your endeavor towards further self insight.

I struggled to maintain that last crystal orb of illusion…that single pretty picture floating in my head that I could always reflect back on…until now.

    Will you leave me nothing?

    WC

Sorry for the collateral damage. You know I would never intentionally trigger you and Im glad you could laugh.

  3. ANM says:

Yes, of course! I would love to read more about the Empath, the professional relationship between the Empath/Narcissist, I do not believe you have finished the series “The Aging Narcissist”-yet I keep checking back on it, also “The Very_____ Narcissist” – your assessment of current events. Those are my favorites

    1. HG Tudor says:

Thank you – there will be more on the ageing narcissist.

      1. NarcAngel says:

        HG

Haha, of course there will be more on the ageing narcissist, because don’t look now but………you’re ageing.

          1. NarcAngel says:

Ah. So your initials should really be D.G.

      2. Twilight says:

        Narc Angel that isn’t funny…..
        D.G.

        His initials were that….

Ha ha you have made me laugh and struck me with a moment of ah for god sakes I had to remember him.

I have read ALL of HG Tudors books. I started reading his books and blogs about two and half years ago. I always anticipate his next work, whether it is a book, or blog. Sitting Target is my ultimate favorite of his work. The reason this is, experts can all come to a somewhat mutual understanding of what a Narcissist is, what is a “hoover”, what is fuel, no contact, etc. What makes HG’s work different, it is based on his Philosophy of Social Evaluation. A lot of “Experts” will focus on the Empath’s weakness as to why they were targeted. This book goes further into depth, instead of basic generalization. There are multiple types of targeted Empaths, and there are multiple types of Narcissist, and what they look for.

I have found, that I am a Super Magnetic Empath. I am #1 on my finance team at work. I am cool, calm, calculated, and ready to be anyone’s friend. I am usually #1 at everything I do, but it is never a competition, because I want everyone to be #1.

I have been targeted by: Midrangers to Greaters (Mostly Elites and Cerebrals, only occasionally the Somatic)

Lessors hate me. My younger, Codependent sister is ensnared by a Lessor. He sees me as his competition. His thought process is stupid, yet makes sense since he isolated her from everyone else, and I technically am his only competition, if there is literally no other eligible players in his game. Her Codependent ways deserve that life, since they both wont see it for what it is.

I wish HG would come out with a sequel to this, but this is the only book that really focuses on the Empath. He can’t have that for too long. It is always about him (the Narcissist).

Thank you ANM, I appreciated your description – I do hope you have left a review along similar lines for this book. There is more material in progress about empaths (but even more of course about me).

Just a question why does it say US e-Book here, UK, etc. what’s the diffference? What if you live somewhere else?

    1. HG Tudor says:

The majority of my readers come from US, UK, Canada and Australia therefore it makes sense to place the links for those countries’ Amazon sites in the post. If you come from other places you can find the books on the relevant Amazon site such as for Mexico or Italy.

    2. SuperXena says:

      Hello M,

As far as I know , Amazon has 11 different “marketplaces ” ( or e-platforms):
      3 in North America
      5 in Europe
      3 in Asia

If it is an e-book this is not relevant for you as a buyer. You can buy from any marketplace regardless where you live. That is to say that you can open an account in any marketplace when buying an e-book and if you get the message :”your item is not available in your home country” it usually redirects you to the marketplace where it is available.
Usually, all the e-books are found at amazon.com.
      I hope it helps!

      1. HG Tudor says:

        Thanks for adding that SX.

        1. SuperXena says:

          Your welcome HG.
