Holy shit this conversation was painfully familiar. I had never heard the word accuse so much in my life.
I couldn’t stop laughing while reading this. I remember having circular arguments with my mom, a lesser victim, and it was so ridiculous that I ended up laughing in the middle of our argument, which made her laugh too. And I would just give up but instead of getting frustrated, I just looked at the humor in it. At that time also, I just thought that it was because she’s not very smart.
Then my mid-range sister is closer to your style because she was very smart. With her it was really frustrating because I gave more credence to her than I did with my mom because I found her smart and sophisticated.
