  1. My first encounter was with a midrange narcissistic sociopath…took me a while to break out but my supernova was born.
My second encounter was a narcissistic grand sociopath….I realized how powerful my supernova was and the first time in my life I felt empowered.
I know now that men with ASPD are attracted to me, I’m a “super empath” and a great source of fuel.
But once my supernova is egnited I get great pleasure of starving the person of fuel. Once your discarded…I never look back.

  2. After 4 months of love bombing…I thought something seemed off. I laughed off some of the behaviors. I thought I found forever. Because I have some narcissistic traits…my gut was screaming. I decided to start listening. I found your blog and writings. Everything that was happening was in black and white, right in front of me. I did some investigating, and found out things that I wish I never knew…but know that I needed to. I was able to orchestrate his discard of me. I thought it less likely that he would Hoover if he thought it was his doing. I immediately went no contact. I am now dealing with the withdrawal. BUT I WILL BE OKAY!! Thank you…

  3. EXCELLENT, excellent read. If you’re doubting, don’t. Just buy it.
I came across this book a month post-escape. After reading it though, I realized how fortunate I was that the Mid-Ranger is not as clever as so many other narcs out there—I could have suffered greatly. (BTW, I don’t call him “my” Mid-Ranger. He’s not “my” anything.)

For me, this book was not a “how to” manual as is its intent but rather it served as validation that: 1. Leaving was the best thing I could’ve done for my son & me, and 2. The narc (he doesn’t get capitalized either) could’ve put me through a living hell but I got out virtually unscathed.

And *EXACTLY* as HG predicted, the Hoover’s started. Suffice it to say, I read HG’s warnings about Hoover’s & took his advice, and I’ve been NC for 10-months.

I have a like/dislike relationship with HG. Today, I really like him.
