Accident and Emergency (our version of the emergency room) but ER does not rhyme with ‘pear tree’!
ah okay thank you, for a Narcissist , I was never devalued,,,,but he was trying to show me without his saying so, that he wasn’t okay,,,he would write things that I knew would be the equivalent to caring and loving,,never expected me to see where his mind was, but it makes me believe that a lot of inner healing needed to be done,,I just don’t think I could have been the one to do it,,,I hope everybody finds peace of mind.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess “A & E” is the American equivalent of an Emergency Room?

Had to look up ‘A & E’ as it’s not a phrase I am familiar with but it is as I suspected, just labeled differently based on country of Origin; accident and emergency, simply known as Emerg or Emergency in Canada.
