Fury is the instrument of the narcissist. It is a tool that we deploy in furtherance of our aims. The narcissist’s toolbox is a thing to behold. It contains many devices, objects and instruments that we deploy in order to secure our objectives. Other people may use these devices in a similar if diminished form but they will not be anywhere near as dangerous and effective as the ones that lurk in my toolkit. Some of these instruments are used to subjugate, others are deployed to control and yet again there are others that will be used for the purposes of manipulation. The placing of fury in this toolbox recognises its use to the narcissist as one of his prime instruments.

All of our kind bring the fury but what is it? It will be instructive to start by considering what it is not. Fury is not anger. Anger is below fury on the scale of violent responses. Anger is a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure or hostility. It is greater than vexation, it is something more than feeling cross and it is beyond exasperation. Notwithstanding this, it is less than fury. It does not contain the unbridled vitriol that is synonymous with fury. Nor does it contain the violent hostility that one finds with fury. What is most important to know about anger is that it is a normal emotion and thus by comparison, fury is an abnormal emotion, hence why fury sits in our toolkit. Anger is an intense emotional response that is normal in nature and arises as a consequence of real or perceived provocation. Anger in itself is neither good nor bad. It can be used for either purpose and it is down to the manner in which that particular person handles it. An individual may direct it into violence towards another person in order to protect him or herself from a threat. Alternatively, it may manifest in the destruction of property. You as a normal and empathic individual become angry. Indeed, as part of our mission to obtain fuel we strive to provoke anger in you, either through angry gestures or through angry words on your part. This provides us with fuel when you react in this emotional fashion. It is an acceptable and understandable response for an individual to become angry.

It is a normal response to a threat or harm. It also releases pressure that builds up inside a normal person. The expression of anger enables people to dissipate this pressure and thereafter feel spent but better for having been angry, as opposed to suppressing the sensation and allowing the pressure to build even further. Some normal people can only take a small amount of pressure before they blow a fuse whereas other people may be regarded as slow-burners who take a long time before they express anger. In either instance the response is an entirely normal one. People become angry for a host of different reasons.

You may agree that anger certainly serves a purpose and concur that helpful and beneficial consequences can arise from this normal emotion. I should imagine that you will also venture to suggest that there is a downside to anger, that results in destructive behaviour and violence. That is not anger. That is fury. That is when something beyond anger is experienced and this fury is more prevalent amongst my kind.

Interestingly, anger also results in a suspension of empathy by those who behave normally. The individual, through anger, becomes focussed on his or her own needs and requirements. This is not applicable to me. There is no empathy to suspend. That is why we do not deploy anger. We have no need of a device to suspend our empathy because we do not have any. This is a further reason why anger serves no actual purpose to us and why we must deploy fury instead. Anger is a normal reaction. We operate outside of the usual normative values. This normal anger serves certain purposes. None of those purposes are of any use to my kind and me. Anger can be regarded as a force for good. That is not something that we are interested in.

Fury is beyond anger. It is wrath, frenzy and savagery. Someone who is furious has gone the extra emotional mile. One might even consider it to be madness. The wild nature of fury causes it to surpass anger and fury is not to be found in the responses of the normal person. I will emphasise that point. You will not find fury as a response of a normal person. Anger? Yes. Fury? No. The deployment of fury is the hallmark of the abnormal. If fury were a normal reaction there would be chaos as explosions erupted everywhere. Most relationships would disintegrate, more people would be injured, and property broken and destroyed and the repercussions for society as a whole would be severe. The cost in terms of money, emotion and well-being would be enormous. Consider the number of times you have been angry. It has happened has it not? You will also be able to recall when your parents or at least one of them became angry, a friend, a stranger, a colleague or a partner. You have seen anger in everyone and that is because it is normal. They may have used that anger for some purpose, kept it in check or let it flow over them and dissipate with no consequence. For those of you have had an encounter with fury, you will also know it. It will have happened amongst fewer people than the categories that I have just mentioned. This is because the development of people has been such that fury cannot become the norm. If it does then society would begin to break down. You may have seen many instances of fury from one particular individual. That is because that person is not normal. They are the exception.

I think HG has the Queens English but I hear a tinge of Manchester accent also

He sometimes sounds like the physist Prof Brian Cox but with a deeper more refined edge of course

  2. E&L says:

HG, to me your voice sounds like a mix of accents: Charles Handy, Roger Moore, Keir Simmons. The person who thinks you are RG is hearing much differently than me.

    1. PrincessSuperEmpath says:

E & L, does HG`s voice sound to you like Benedict Cumberbatch, at all? It does to me although HG`s voice is slightly deeper and resonates more, male testosterone wise…. I did hear that Cumberbatch’s voice has changed somewhat after he practiced an American Accent, and also after he practiced older accents for some characters for some books that he narrated for audio…. but, still I heard that he has what is considered one of the best voices in his field. And I listened to a couple of Cumberbatch`s narration of audio books until I discovered HG Tudor`s audios, around October/November last year.

      1. E&L says:

I will have to listen to him speak as he is not so much in my wheelhouse. Although, I know he is supposed to be a really great actor, I watch mostly documentaries and Reality TV garbage. I’ve got the black and white entertainment affliction of a CoD. Cry then laugh then cry then laugh…

        1. MB says:

I watched a clip just now. His voice isn’t deep enough. Plus, the dude isn’t a narcissist. Next!

          1. NarcAngel says:

I didn’t get any of HG in CB either.

          2. MB says:

The accent is similar at times, so I get what people are hearing there. Plus, no offense to CB, but I imagine HG even more handsome.

      2. E&L says:

I just watched one 3 minute BBC video of Benedict C. being interviewed…he used the word “cloak” several times in reference to a cape his character wore, sounds like HG lingo to me. Something to reveal HG? Also, I could hear phrases spoken with a slight dimming of his British accent, possibly unintended by him. Interesting! Now I’ll have to listen to my ZERO IMPACT series to really assess the similarities. Good ear PSE!

        1. WokeAF says:

Fuck You guys I posted it yesterday I want credit. 😂

          1. E&L says:

            Okay, credit.

          2. Desiree. Correction: *since you are not* opposed to dating, I meant to say.

        2. E&L: Thank you. Well, I guess that is a start, yet I am awaiting your own personal full analysis and impression of the two voice at your earliest convenience. I do not think that there is a right or wrong answer really. Because, it is a fact that the 2 voices do remind me of each other in some manner. And, the way you discussed accents in your post caught my attention and encouraged me to ask you for your impressions. Not of the two people, or their looks. Of course I would not know, but one person seems way more fun than the other. Oh, I took a listen to the RG person. No!!!! His voice is not similar and sounds somewhat tinny to me. lacking in some mellowness on the resonance scale.

          1. E&L says:

HG is a mystery. His voice sounds polished, crisp and his vocabulary is that of an educated man. I do not listen to him with the intent of finding out his origin, rather I notice little nuances
in his speech. For example, every once in a while he rolls his consonants, his voice sometimes reverberates (not like the affected vocal fry but of a deeper, masculine sounding vibration), and his accent is sometimes unique to my ear; for example he pronounces touch as “tutch” (sounds like Butch). I’m no expert, I’m a fucking, village idiot by any measure, but his voice and imparted knowledge has been a life saver to me. And, like the other voices I hear, I compare them as familiarity breeds comfort. The gentleman I referred to above each represent a part of HG’s voice: 1) Charles Handy is an effective orator 2) Keir Simmons is a journalist who speaks clearly with a command of language 3) Roger Moore has a smooth, polish voice. This is all just my opinion based on what I listen to.

        3. PrincessSuperEmpath says:

E&L. And, of course his voice would have that mystery. Since I have only lived in the U.S. I have absolutely no idea of British regional accents at all, origin wise. And, I never studied Great Britain, so l know little about it. I plan to visit next year, after a little study, because London may be too much like NY, I fear, so I would like to visit another place outside of London as well. I am sure there are many variances in accent just like in every country, I would guess. E&L, I also like how he pronounces words that end in the letter, Y. It sounds a bit different than how he pronunciates in general and, I wonder why. Maybe it is latently regional or maybe it is some part of his personality that pushes through. I find that when HG pronounces words that end with the letter Y at the end, there is a little roughness in that polished accent. I hope he never loses that or changes it. I find that sound charming and engaging and more accessible to more people. Yes, E&L, A mystery.

          1. Caroline R says:

Listen to some northern English vocal sounds. Listen to Prof. Brian Cox.
Do a little snooping into the Manchester regional accent.
I think that you’ll find some answers about HG’s “tooch” (touch) rhymes with “butch”, and “bootton” (button) pronunciations.

          2. PrincessSuperEmpath says:

Desiree. You and I agree on the following mystery as you quoted: `But I think HGs pronunciation is tinted with something else as well that I can’t quite put my finger on.` Yes there is something mysterious about a certain aspect of it. I think RP is mostly all that I have been largely exposed to living in the United States. I am sure if I visited Britain, I will encounter many other accents. I will probably ask people why they do not sound like HG Tudor. Desiree, I replied to your post around a week or so ago to encourage you to buy HG`s book, Sitting Target especially sine you are opposed to dating at this time, if you have not done so. I just arrived to my apartment and my copy just arrived today. It looks beautiful of course. I can not remember where the post is, but I remember you told me about your date, and I advised you to wear heels high enough to step over lies, and to bring a trench coat in case impromptu love-bombing catches you by surprise, etc. And to weaponize spray him if he called you his soulmate. I wish I could hear what High German sounds like. Can you provide a link to a short clip where someone is speaking High German?

          3. Desiree: I agree and I said something similar earlier today. I wrote:` HG says this blog is all about us so that is can be all about him, something like that. And, I believe him. So, I never worry about talking about him on here, plus he is the moderator as well, so if I worried about all that, I would not have much to say anymore.` ~~PSE

          4. Violetta says:

If you watch Britcom Keeping Up Appearances, there are several characters with Northern accents. Social-climber Hyacinth lapses into it herself when she’s upset (she tries to be plummy and posh usually). Sisters Daisy and Rose are unabashedly North-Country. Daisy’s husband Onslow sounds Geordie to me (North of the Humber), but he has an argument with Daisy about Liverpool Football Club in one episode (most people think of the Beatles for Liverpool accents).

PBS hasn’t shown “Young Hyacinth” here, so I don’t know where the characters are actually supposed to be from.

I think Wallace and Grommet are supposed to be Mancunians.

          5. HG Tudor says:

Onslow is from Merseyside. He supports Everton, hence his dislike for Liverpool and his reaction when Daisy mentions she once supported Liverpool.

I would counsel you against going to the East Riding of Yorkshire, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool and especially Sunderland if you believe them to all qualify as Geordies! You might want to steer clear of those born within spitting distance of the Tyne as they are unlikely to appreciate you including the residents of the above areas within the qualification area of Geordies.

      3. E&L says:

        PSE and HG,
HG, I did not think it was polite to continue to talk about you, on your blog, as if you were not here. I meant no disrespect. My apologies!
PSE, in a 1996 Clive Anderson All Talk Clip on YouTube, Mr Anderson credits Roger Moore as having a
“mellifluous” voice and sounding as though he came from an aristocratic background (which he did not).
This is the lovely description I was trying to express with regards to HG’s voice; thank you to Mr. Anderson.
Of course, HG doesn’t need me to tell him how pleasant his speaking voice is, he is well aware of his talents and assets.

        1. HG Tudor says:

          No need to apologise.

        2. PrincessSuperEmpath says:

E&L: HG says this blog is all about us so that is can be all about him, something like that. And, I believe him. So, I never worry about talking about him on here, plus he is the moderator as well, so if I worried about all that, I would not have much to say anymore. That’s been my take since I came on here. Also I do not know what he is sitting in since he changed his avatar, and I have not heard anyone discuss what he is sitting in. I wish someone would tell me, as specifically as possible.

          1. E&L says:

Fit man in a uniform…look out!!!!

        3. E&L. Speaking of mellifluous, I think that is the type of voice I have and why people like it. It has a foundational southern U.S. charm, although, on the immediate surface, I have no determinable accent.

          1. Desirée says:

            PSE and EL,
I think it’s okay to talk about HG since he moderates the comments. He seems to draw the line at being likened to “a lakeside forrest villa and heavy, wooden furniture”, but I still find it rather apt and it is my favourite type of landscape, so take my compliment, HG!!
In regards to his accent, I think HG speaks RP, which is the equivalent of what is known in my country as HG.
“Received Pronounciation” is also known as “The Queens English” or Oxford English. I believe it is based on southern english accents and only spoken by a very small elite (looked it up, 3% as of 1974), usually people in positions of power and the intellectual elite. I know that students who go to Oxford or Cambridge are always educated in RP and sometimes loose their home dialect in the process. I was also taught in RP exclusively and it seems to be regarded as the “true” way of speaking english by non-native speakers, although we tend to tinge it with our own native tongues.
It’s similar in Germany and we call it “High German” (Hochdeutsch), originated in the hannoverian area and spoken by a small elite, but used in formal contexts by most other people, although their dialects tend to bleed through, which I have often seen as being made subject of ridicule. People who wish to work on national broadcast televion for example (think BBC) are forced to master it perfectly or get the hell outta there, having a dialect bleeding through is often considered as “lower class” and to be avoided. I can’t even speak my local dialect, only High German, because my mother is preposterously posh.
But I think HGs pronounciation is tinted with something else as well that I can’t quite put my finger on. Perhaps that’s why it is so difficult for people to determine.
My estimation would be that he was educated in Oxford or Cambridge and/or comes from a family where RP is prevalently spoken but has switched locations multiple times or lived in different regions, resulting in his particular, quite lovely accent.
I am curious, is there an american equivalent to what I have described here? Like a “standard american english”? Because I can’t really think of anything and I only ever travel to New York.

          2. HG Tudor says:

Accurate and I approve of the similar German version being called HG. I asked The Shieldmaiden what the German equivalent to RP is and she knew the answer immediately.

          3. MB says:

I don’t know what it is in the US Desireé. All I know is it’s definitely not mine.

So you were taught to speak this way, HG?

          4. HG Tudor says:

            Aren’t we all?

          5. MB says:

Formally. You know what I mean. Yes, I picked up on the country hick accent, but I wasn’t officially taught. Who would choose to speak this way? Much less pay for it!

          6. Kel says:

Kelsey Grammer’s voice would be it if we had a highfalutin accent in the States (but that might be un-American!). I looked him up and he’s from the US Virgin Islands

          7. E&L says:

            Thanx for the info Desiree!

          8. Desirée says:

Of course The Shieldmaiden would know that and I am glad you approve. Another impressive abbreviation we can add to the long list, your Highness.

          9. Kel says:

Ok, this angry teeth clinching gravatar doesn’t represent me accurately at all – or the possible green one I’m seeing this time. Me no likey! I at least want a happy one! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

          10. E&L says:

Again, your explanation of accents in the UK and Germany was interesting. The gentleman Charles Handy whose speaking style reminded me of HG studied at Oxford. He is still a vibrant intellectual at 88 years old.

A bit off topic…which university do you think is the most prestigious? Cambridge? Oxford? Harvard? Another choice? From your posts you seem to be a more sophisticated and cosmopolitan person than myself. It is a bit exciting to run in a larger life circle, even if it is only by way of conversation.

          11. Tammy says:

I had to Google the word mellifluous. Learn something new everyday. I like that.

          12. Violetta says:

I rather like my avatar. It’s easy being green.

  3. WokeAF says:

Here! Lol. I recall your one ex who’s friend had said Ted her to the conclusion that you were a narc, only for you to turn it around that the friend was interested in you and trying to break you up

It seems more than likely some of these exes figure out what you are , google narcissist or just google your behaviour and end up here the same way I did

Easy enough then to find the YouTube channel and identify your voice. I’m saying surely some must end up on the blog.

  4. Randomusername says:

Mr. Tudor, I have just come across your site and it is chillingly honest, and enlightening. More so than several of the books I have read on this topic. Whatever use people may have for your blog, it provides a scary insight into narcissistists in a way I haven’t seen before, and I do find it very helpful.

  5. Kiki: If someone likes interacting with HG on a public forum on his Blog and before and with all of his other readers, why would they behave in a way that is insulting to him and to his readers in a deliberate way. And not notice that they are behaving in a not mature fashion? Like a child that throws rocks at the boy she likes and calls him names, and calls his friends name, until the school expels them. Then that child would know why she was expelled, but do it all over again? But, we are not children. This is professional world and a professional Blog that is owned and ran by the Blogger, HG Tudor. Why would someone behave as if she could do no wrong on someone else’s forum? And believe that she could do no wrong. Why would someone feel entitled to behave in an impossible manner. And feels she will never be shut out. Why would someone not realize they could be banned by the Owner of the Blog in time, or any other Blogs, due to destructive behaviour. HG is here a lot of the time. He reads all the posts. He responds within reason. What more can we want from him? Everything? Sure. I mean, what more can we reasonably want from him. For reasonably people, he has more than fulfilled the plan. I do not find it wise to behave in a manner to take me away from a place that I find immensely fascinating with wonderful people and smart and working to become smarter, and people assist each other in different ways, logically and emotionally as needed, and then there is HG Tudor, a phenomenal person, that I enjoy knowing that he actually reads what I have to say, and what others have to say, in a world where this is a rare occurrence these days. But, we all are different. I am just venting. I would not ruin this for myself by thinking that I can do no wrong and that I am entitled and that I could never been banned. I vented my spleen. I really wanted to say, Hi Kiki!

    1. Kiki says:

      Hi PSE

I was being sarcastic towards Anon meaning she is mad for HGs attention
I don’t and never did condone her horrible behaviour
If you see my comments below
I’m not sure have we our wires crossed is this what you are referring to or my comment to Survivor X

      Much love Kiki❤️

      1. Hi Kiki: I am wondering why Anon is so hostile in a place she likes to visit. Anon may laugh at us all, but she will not have the last laugh if she finds herself banned. Many Blogs would have banned her a long time ago. I hope she catches herself in time. This is a fascinating blog. Why should she ruin for herself. Just a rhetorical question. I just came on to say Hi Kiki, and then I saw her running around trying to light the blue touch paper in here.

    2. Kiki says:

      Hi PSE

      I totally agree with you
I’m not sure why people behave like this .
Wanting a lot of attention seems to be a theme

      Hope you are well

      1. PrincessSuperEmpath says:

Kiki: I agree, but some people defeat their own purpose to obtain that attention. Like children do. One does not have to fight overly hard for HG Tudor`s attention currently on this Blog, because he reads every single post we write, and he therefore protects both us and the integrity of this remarkable Blog. In his way. Because it is His Blog, under His Control. And HG Tudor is remarkably patient and in control of himself, and a wonderful demonstrator of all that we deal with, highlighting what he teaches, even with people that come on here and call us derogatory names, without knowing anything about us and without reading either HG Tudor`s books or reading his articles or listening to his audios, or his interviews, etc. However, I have seen a few people visit, while upset with their entanglements, and lash out, and some still do at times, and then hang in here for a while and read and listen and admit that they are learning and then they catch themselves before they defeat themselves. And enjoy and learn with us on this Blog, in a respectable and mature manner, most of the time. We fight together and cry together and learn together and debate together, on a very very very sensitive topic. Why should she have her self evicted from a place that she can not replace on the same high level, for no reason? Because she feels that she can do no wrong? Because she feels entitled to behave in any manner whatsoever? Because she believes she can not be banned? It is crazy! I just do not understand it, but I will continue to watch and learn to see if she prevents herself from hurting herself. I am just venting, Kiki. Thank you for listening to me. And, I remember that you told me that if I ever needed to talk, you would be there for me. See! Like most people, I remember what I want to remember. I remember you telling me that. I needed to vent my spleen. Thanks for listening, Kiki.

        1. Kiki says:

          Hi PSE
          Apologies for late reply

I don’t think she is here to learn just to goad HG that’s all
Why ? there could be a billion reasons but I think she just gets a sick kick out of it
Some posters tend to want all HGs attention and get into long winded arguments with him instead of just putting their hands up and agreeing to disagree or admit they might be wrong
I think they do it just to keep the convo going with HG as long as possible they really are not very interested in communicating with the rest of us here .
.Ive noticed that pattern you might reply to them and they don’t even bother with a thanks they just want HG to comment with them continually .

          1. Kiki. It is impossible to keep up with all the reading and posts. I hope everyone understands. I agree with a lot of your observations. So true. So ineffective, long term. Another example of living in the NOW. And Believing that one can control what can not be controlled. I am sad that I have not yet been able to read those political articles that HG wrote. But, otherwise, I am still in the good fight. The Struggle is Real.

    3. lisk says:

      Because she is a narcissist.

  6. FYC says:

HG, You must have been bored to let this seagull do a flyby again. Same foul crapping and squaking all over the place, different day.

    1. HG Tudor says:

I opened the window to let a foul odour leave but then this flew in. I suppose I could ask Harry to shoot it?!

      1. FYC says:

“I opened the window to let a foul odour leave but then this flew in. I suppose I could ask Harry to shoot it?!”

Lol. According to some, HG, there would be no point. It is neither an endangered nor rare species.

      2. Tammy says:

        Who’s Harry?

        1. HG Tudor says:

          Prince Harry.

        2. Tammy says:

          I want a different avatar… 😇

          1. HG Tudor says:

Tut tut such a sense of entitlement!!

          2. Kiki says:

Is Hg giving us different avatars?
            Hahaa 🙂

    2. Anon says:

Dance monkey…..dance!!!! Don’t stop, DANCE FOR ALL OF US!

      1. FYC says:

Fellow bird watchers, you’ll remember our last sighting of the lower midrange phylum sans-chordata, of the family of Laridae. Famous for being antagonistic and opportunistic, you’ll note these gulls predictably return to their desired feeding grounds time and again.

Today, we are witnessing the common behavior of repeated attempts to pick at the flesh of others, only to be summarily rejected. OH MY! After failing miserably, it appears the gull has now resorted to consuming its own feces. Look away fellow bird watchers, and protect yourselves from its all too common spray of reflexive regurgitation!

Next we will turn our attention to the majestic greater Pandion Haliaetus….

        1. Desirée says:

FYC, I don’t know how you came up with this, but I want to print out this comment and put it over my desk. It is a work of art.

          1. FYC says:

HaHa Desiree, you are most kind. I thought it might be a bit much to revisit the joke, but google gave me so much to work with in real-life gull behavior that matched a midranger, I went ahead with the sequel. It was Narc Angel that came up with the concept of seagulls because they squawk and crap all over the place. I just took it from there.

  7. T’mara says:

Mr. Tudor, who is the man in the picture? Do you know him?

    1. HG Tudor says:

      No idea. No I don’t.

      1. T’mara says:

        Oh, okay…

    2. MB says:

I dertermined him to be British by his teeth. God forgive me for stereotyping.

      1. NarcAngel says:

** gasps and clutches pearls **

        Omg you did not!

(Okay they were anal beads but whatever)

        1. MB says:

NA, Ha! Ha! Since it’s an established fact you don’t wear pearls.

You know you thought it. I thought it as soon as I saw the photo. T’mara’s comment opened the door.

Yes, I’m going to hell! Now go have some poutine.

          1. T’mara says:

I was going off the eyes being that they are gray-blue 😘

          2. T’mara says:

I actually just wanted to make sure it wasn’t HG because I have pictured him older than this… I want him to be older, and wiser. It really had nothing to do with the teeth. But, I cannot deny that your comment made me giggle, MB (from out of nowhere. I wasn’t expecting that. Lol). I applaud HG for allowing your comment through as it shows self-confidence on his part. You are naughty, MB, to try and blame me… (ha haha).

        2. E&L says:

My Ben Wa just dropped! Stop making me laugh!

          1. T ‘mra says:

            I swallowed mine…

      2. NarcAngel says:

Btw – god is the least of your worries in issuing that statement. I suggest you throw yourself into the moat.

        1. MB says:

I’m sure HGs teeth are perfect. No moat necessary.

Bless his heart, Hugh Grant does nothing as a British ambassador to dispel the stereotype. Just sayin’.

          1. Lorelei says:

I don’t think I could forgive bad teeth MB.

          2. MB says:

I don’t hold anybody’s teeth against them. It’s genetic. Only so much can be done. I was stereotyping. It wasn’t very empath-like of me. I was kidding about the poutine. (Making fun of my stereotyping.)

          3. Lorelei says:

Oh I am not above being a twit my friend. I actually teach kids to brush so they get excited about hygiene. In my work the neighborhood is deplorable. Highest crime zip code/STI rates off the charts, etc. The kids are actually so excited to be given hygiene items and it really is gratifying. I cognitively understand a lack of good habits creates decay etc and that people are self conscious, it’s just that I can’t personally be attracted to bad teeth, nor can many of us. Implants are only affordable to some indeed.

    3. WokeAF says:

T’mara I always pictured Hg to look like an older, more chiseled, refined Benedict Cumberbatch.

      1. HG Tudor says:

      2. T ‘mra says:

WokeAF, I will need to look him up. I haven’t heard of him.

  8. Liane says:

I found the explanations regarding the difference between anger and fury very helpful. So only abnormal people have fury, but a furious person does not necessarily have to be a narcissist, correct? They could have some other disorder.

    1. HG Tudor says:

Correct but they will almost always be a narcissist.

  9. Anon says:

You see, it seems like you are addressing someone outside of this blog and trying to condemn someone else. I thought this was a support blog for narc recovery. Are you using this as mean of attacking people or as a personal vendetta? A narc would do that.

    1. HG Tudor says:

      1. Wrong.
      2. It is a blog for information about narcissism.
      3. No, that would be pointless for one such as I.

Oh and hello again Pamela. Can’t keep away can you?!

      1. Anon says:

And I don’t want to be rude, I don’t understand your reasoning about “ keeping away” if you have a blog for interactive discussion. There is no connection between us, actually I find myself repulsed by you but unlike the children who come here and fall all over the slug, I do find the slug interesting but only want to poke it with a stick, not touch it or anything. Probably feel this way cause of my current issues with several narcs I am trying to lose in my life.

        1. alexissmith2016 says:

ooh thank you Anon. I shall take the reference to being called a child as a complement. A bit like being ID’d at a bar, which hasn’t happened for a little while. So, thank you.

I will also take this as an opportune moment to gently let HG know that PM will be announced tomorrow and if Hunt wins, no-one will be interested in reading the Boris article anymore. Hahahaha So no time like the present.

I will now sit here and self-flagellate because I don’t see any slugs.

          1. HG Tudor says:

Don’t worry As, I am well aware of the impending deadline.

          2. Anon says:

Attack, cut in, insult. Rinse and repeat.

            Like a trained monkey.

          3. alexissmith2016 says:

            Are you projecting?

          4. alexissmith2016 says:

Great! I’m also learning how to dumb down my N trait of pride by messaging more than I would have in the past. It comes in handy sometimes – as I am learning!

That said, based on No 7. of the Narcissistic Covenant and Anon’s views that you’re a slug, I’ve just popped to the shop and purchased a lot of salt!

        2. Kiki says:

Pamela yes it’s a support forum BUT none of us are here to insult HG or each other .We have better things to do , such as learning
You won’t win with him .
You know what he is greater narc it’s no secret why try to poke a COBRA 🐍 not a slug
Is this enhancing your life in anyway

          1. Anon says:

Attack, cut in, insult. Rinse and repeat.

Just like trained monkey number 2.

          2. Kiki says:

Nowhere did I attack you or insult you I merely suggested that it is not acceptable to insult people here or try to goad HG because there is no benefit in that for you

        3. Restored Heart says:

So Anon. The several narcs you are trying to lose, are they the ones in the City of Churches, the Garden State or the big one in the Emerald City? Or all of them?
Maybe you are not as Anon as you think…
Little things can give a person away…

          1. Anon says:

Continue Sigmund. You’re on a roll.

            Trained monkeys.

          2. Restored Heart says:

Yeah not a Freud fan Anon. Sorry, I meant Lisa…

        4. Caroline R says:

          “And I don’t want to be rude…”
          Yes you do!

        5. NarcAngel says:

          1. You don’t want to be rude.
Epic fail that has no effect except to highlight your ignorance of social norms and inability to get anything right. Also a lie.

          2. You don’t understand the reasoning.
This is because you are so dim that you cannot comprehend the difference between interactive discussion (what we do) and vapid monologue (what you do).

          3. Feeling this way due to trying to lose several narcs in your life.
Huge tip here: You can lose or avoid narcs in your life by not initiating contact with them in the first place in order to gain the attention you are so desperate for. They don’t even want you, but you persist.

Make like Frozen and…let it go…let it go

But you can’t even do that can you?

          1. Anon. says:

Cut in, attack, insult. Rinse and repeat.

Trained ignorant monkeys who can only throw shit.

          2. NarcAngel says:

Once again you absolutely nail your behaviours with amazing accuracy. Your introspection is truly commendable. I’ll wait while you look up introspection.

          3. Anon says:

Tony, you should be focusing on your stem cell cancer treatments. Unless you want to die.

Or maybe you’re a trained monkey having experiments done on him.

        6. Sweetest Perfection says:

Pam (you don’t mind the familiarity right?), are you using us as a lab experiment for your dissertation? If you are, I understand your constant returns full of hostility and meanness. If you are not, I suggest you find a plan B because at some point you’re gonna need to turn something in and you’re not getting any younger. I care about your education, girl. We all care. You’re cared for, Pam.

    2. Tammy says:

It is a support blog for narc recovery if you use it as such. Or you just bitch and complain and don’t use the tools offered.

      1. Anon says:

I guess being a cunt comes natural to some people. Where does it specifically say I have to explain myself to you or any of these other nuts?

        1. NarcAngel says:

Bravo for recognizing that being a cunt comes naturally to you. Way to own that shit.

          1. Caroline R says:

            Good work!

          2. Anon says:

Did you get hooked on phonics since the last time we spoke? Or is running back here to protect the narc all you have in life? White trash. Don’t let me get in the way of your illiteracy. Do find a life off the internet. Your psychotic rabid underinformed opinion is needed on urban dictionary.

Let me correct myself, I loathe HG, AND this fucking place of comment trash is why. Damn you to hell.

        2. foolme1time says:

You know I’ve been reading your comments on here today, and this thought about you crossed my mind. I bet your ass must get pretty jealous of all the shit that comes out of your mouth!

        3. Kiki says:

Go look at yourself You Bitch

          1. Anon says:

            Dance monkey dance!

          2. NarcAngel says:

            To everyone BUT Anon:

Isn’t it funny that she thinks we’re the ones dancing when it’s her that’s dancing (well……vibrating is sort of a dance) with fury?
Look at her go. She’s absolutely percolating with fury and might blow. I made a little song for her to dance to:

You’re a little teapot short and stout
You can’t get your fuel so you’re all up in a pout
You get all very steamed up when I cram it in your spout
But you know what little teapot? You can eat me out.

            Ha ha ha.

          3. foolme1time says:

Fucking A, NA! Hahaha You will be my hero until the day I die!!

          4. Twilight says:

I need me some Best Buy guy again…..that was fucking funny as hell.

          5. NarcAngel says:

She can’t look at herself. There’s nothing there. That’s why she’s furious.

          6. Kiki says:

You LOATHE HG and this place

I think your obsessed with HG , crazy for him hahaa

        4. WokeAF says:

ANON lol! I live the word cunt and i can’t bekuebe I just read it here. That’s awesome 👏🏻

When I first got here like , a year and a hand it so ago, I was in disbelief – I think my first post may have been asking why everyone is fangirling over HG and was everyone in love w him or something 😂

My advice is pour a drink, put your feet up,read as much of HG’s material as possibly bc it has proven itself over and over and over in my own experience to be so accurate it’s freaky. Like, so accurate that at a year and a half later I’m realizing if I’d totally disengaged from my narcs I wouldn’t have been able to prove how accurate he is. I literally tested it all out and he’s got so many layers of information it dawns on me regularly that yet another article has just proven obviously accurate.
So if I’d just taken his word as gospel I’d have saved myself pain. BUT I wouldn’t have known it. Anyhow, I hope you find this place helpful.

          1. WokeAF says:

Oh ok mind I just caught up w the thread
So HG, we have a narc who thinks they know you or some of us personally ? Like “Tony” is you? I saw that the other day. This person referred to you as Tony, which had me googling footballers in the 90’s (best guess ) names Tony for video snippets of their voice. Lol just in case.
So this is just a delusional furious narc
Or do they actually know you and are a disengaged-from gf who’s caught on and is just plain furious to the point she can’t see the value in the blog or comprehend our enjoyment of interacting with you
            I could understand that lmao
ESP from you’re letting that one post go thru the other week to show you could lmao
I was wondering wtf that was 😆

          2. HG Tudor says:

I am not Tony. This individual is as you state. This individual has brought court cases against Harvey Weinstein (dismissed following a motion from Weinstein), against a college for alleged discrimination (case lost), has complained to the police in the UK about Richard Grannon (she seems to think I am him – I am not, for one he has a Scouse accent and I do not). There is a long trail of quarter-wittery from this foul-mouthed individual and I allow the occasional comment through to demonstrate how such individuals behave.
Naturally the success of my work attracts some of my kind (although of course they never know what they are). There is a Mid Range Narcissist who is desperate to gain my attention and alternates between threats, flattery, wanting to talk to me, then threats again. It is all so predictable and contemptible. I may write about it in due course and provide the evidence so you can all see how these people behave.

          3. WokeAF says:

Quarter-wittery! 😂 ok thanks for addressing my thoughts I look forward to future articles about this

          4. MB says:

I’m looking forward to the ‘Inbox of HG’ case studies. I quite enjoyed the piece you wrote about the spam mail you receive from Nigerian Princes and such.

          5. HG Tudor says:

This is the response of an open-minded and constructive empath.

          6. WokeAF says:

            Thank you HG

        5. Tammy says:

Being honest comes naturally to me. You are the instigator here. You started this whole bunch of bullshit. Why are you here? This is not what this forum is for. Go get your attention elsewhere.

    3. T’mara says:

      ED??? 🤗🤗🤗

      1. HG Tudor says:

        1. T’mara says:

Oh, sorry. Sounded a bit like …

        2. T’mara says:

Also, my LIKE Button on WordPress is fickle and keeps Unliking after I press Like. So, I keep trying to Like, still.

  10. Anon says:

Tell me something, so fury isn’t in a normal person, but if the normal person is being harassed by a mentally deficient narcissist psychopath that will need the law to control, don’t you think that repeated malicious encroachment will garner a furious response or are you denying the horrific nature of a true narcissist that you so richly describe in evil terms?

I mean you talk of repeated character assassination, repeated malicious intent, triangulation, and other horrific behavior on top of entitled malicious stalking. So a narc creates that in a person and the furious person is in the wrong now? The narc is an angel, huh?

    1. HG Tudor says:

      Read the book ‘Fury’.

The narcissistic perspective means that the narcissist sees themselves as the victim and the Victim as the perpetrator because narcissism is a self-defence mechanism. This of course seems bizarre and twisted to the Victim but it is because of different perspectives.

    2. WokeAF says:

HG I’m sure tons of ppl think you’re their narc and are wrong
But… if they are like a couple of your exes who caught onto the word “narcissist “ and did research and found themselves here , and recognized your voice since you don’t alter it…I mean it’s not so unlikely … then if they tried to communicate this recognition of you only for you to simply deny it and everyone here believe you- that WOULD be rather infuriating. And if they had suffered the full HG treatment, incl post-disengagement malign Hoovers such as stalking— they might be so psychologically messed up they just come on here and call you names, and be so incensed you have a mini harem of a community that basically treats you like a god
😆 I mean, I could see this person just calling is trained monkeys and all.
Plus you can moderate what comments get through , and pull a total narc move of making her look insane LOL

Totally plausible isn’t it? I’ve aLways wondered how you with so many previous empaths scorned, have managed for them not to find their way here. As many of us know, it’s not difficult .

How do you keep them from discovering you?

      1. HG Tudor says:

I do not manipulate the comments WokeAF, I remove ones which offend the rules but very few indeed. I allow the ones attacking me through also. None of the ‘pelters’ have come from anybody who knows me.

        1. WokeAF says:

Do you have certain precautions put in place to keep any of your exes from coming to the blog?
          Ive always wondered.

          1. HG Tudor says:

            My reputation.

          2. WokeAF says:

            I don’t understand.

          3. Abe Moline says:

I think he means he’s either too good a manipulator to be recognized as a narcissist, or that nobody IRL would think about him as being interested or available to own and sustain this enterprise (blog, YT, books and so on).
I incline towards the first one.

HG, please correct me if I’m wrong.

          4. HG Tudor says:

It means my reputation precedes me – they know not to cross me.

          5. WokeAF says:

I suspected that was your meaning.
However surely they must at least show up now and then ?

          6. HG Tudor says:

            Show up where?

          7. Abe Moline says:

            Thanks for clarifying, HG.

So you do not exclude the possibility that some may have discovered your blog, it’s just that they do not dare commenting here?

          8. HG Tudor says:

          9. MB says:

Abe, we would never know if they did. But HG would and they would be dealt with. Why do you think he keeps that dungeon?

          10. Abe Moline says:

I don’t know… for his collection of wines maybe?

          11. MB says:

        2. Tammy says:

My opinion about anyone who offends the rules is this… Get them the fuck out. Maybe none of us know all the rules but if you are coming on here being a complete dick or cunt, the rest of us don’t want to deal with you. HG will decide who stays or goes but for me personally, I don’t want to hear the bullshit. For me, this forum has a place and it’s not listening to bitches who just want to play some games. Let’s get back to what this forum was meant for. Ok then… Thanks HG.

          1. HG Tudor says:

Come on Tammy, I need to know what you real view is please!

          2. T ‘mra says:

This is what I wish for, too. ❤️

  11. Tammy says:

HG… This topic interests me very much. I’m curious to know about your behavior in your most heated fury. I’ve witnessed fury in a lower level narcissist who once lived with me. The others were mid and greater and I only saw it on a very rare occasion and it was minor as far as fury goes. At least that was my perception. Definitely the fury was seen in the lower level type. He couldn’t keep it in check if his life depended on it. The mid and greater schools, those were different. It seemed like fury, as you’ve described but it was quick, didn’t last long at all. But I felt the wrath non the less.

  12. WokeAF says:

    My kids’ Dad.

He also *always* looks like there’s a fire behind his eyes. I always found that odd. Until I found this blog. When he’s REALLY losing it it looks like his eyes are gonna jump out his head and attack me.
