Sorry for the multiple comments on this one (I have a lot to say on this topic 🤬)
Speaking of irrelevance, he rarely doles our likes or comments on anyone’s content. Even while he was married his ex wife he didn’t deem it necessary to like her posts or pictures on social media.
***I’m saying all this as a mature woman who knows that social media is nonsense but it is the pattern of behaviors that is noteworthy.
Slices of brilliance! 😂🤣
Most of the time his posts are really arrogant/snarky or mean spirited humor or sophomoric humor which I cannot stand. Of course the fan club all cheer him on 🙄
I just can’t believe this is someone I have been so caught up over. It is actually almost unbelievable.
This is because your logic is now beginning to prevail.
Slowly but surely. Couldn’t have made it this far without you, HG 🙌🏼 🙏🏼
I forge the tools, you wield them.
Lol, I used to find narcex’s posts mundane and boring. No deep thinker here! Didn’t post often either. Something always puzzled me tho: it rarely, if ever, replied to comments on its posts or those of others. Even posts that were obviously playing into the facade of ‘great parent’, hard worker, or victim. What would a likely reason for this be?
He gained the fuel and control and had no need to engage further. The job was done, therefore why expend more energy?
It is so great to know these things now. I used to spend so much time analyzing his social media behaviors when it really is all this simple. Fuel gained, reciprocation or acknowledgement is unnecessary. He’s moved on to something else. Period. Although – I do believe the rationing of likes/replies can be used as triangulation, wouldn’t you agree HG?
I do agree Joanne.
Joanne, I Like your comment, (WP is batty right now). I spent a lot of time analyzing his FB behavior too, and it feels good to know now it’s just all about fuel and nothing else, as you said.
Dearest HG: Regarding the lists you keep for future works: I would absolutely love an article or Narctale-ish about a busy functioning Narcissist going about his day making all type of Energy Expenditure decisions. Sort of like the article on the Shelving back and forth of the sources while painting them bad or good. I would love to see what an Entire Busy Day is like for you especially, or either one of your kind, thought wise and activity wise, from awakening to retiring on a certain busy day. I have no idea what it is like. Hour by hour-ish, just for one day. Thank you.
You are one very lucky PSE because the World of the Narcissist is coming.
Dearest HG: Wow!!! Thank you!!! Can we pre-order??????? I never pre-ordered a book in my life. I want to pre-order please. I am treating myself more special these days. I want to come first for a while. I want to pre-order when possible, Thank you.
There is no need to order. You will be notified as soon as it is available and thus you can obtain it then.
Mine was the same on replying or “liking” comments to his posts of this nature. “What a great dad you are,” and so forth. I guess like HG said below they have no reason or interest to say thank you or acknowledge that commenter’s praise or support 🙄 This was another thing that would bother me because he would ration out those comment “likes” or replies and if I didn’t get one I felt slighted. “He likes HER more than me,” etc. How stupid and childish!
