When you spoke about warmth not being the same as charm–he is covered in prickers and were he ‘warmer’ or even could he feign it, he would go further in his manipulations. But he doesn’t get it. Fuck that guy,
One thing, however. My coworkers and I are not ‘underlings’. Maybe by his perspective, but I can out talent him in certain areas and I believe he is smart enough to realize that. He has witnessed me gather the attention and admiration of some, and for that I have thought perhaps he resented me. Everything is a competition with him. (At the risk of sounding like a narc myself.)
Like my fave winery–from your Knowledge Vault–there are too many options! From what I can gather (and I will learn more in time) the MMR I corresponded with for 7 yrs was a Type A and the MMR who used to whine and cry and call me ‘pb’ was a Type B.
HG, with all your confidence, you make me wish I were a Greater myself. One of the things I have always thought with regards to the UMRN is that perception is not reality. Just because some believe something doesn’t make it the truth. They’re all ultimately cowards.

I am planning to hit my mom up for a Christmas gift–only If she is down for it, I would like to take the Empath Test. We will see what she says. My stepdad won’t get it so we won’t bother telling him. But I have wondered b/c I know I have narc traits and we are often blind to ourselves.
My mom, as example, is a Standard Carrier Empath. I know this. She doesn’t have any pets though. Yet I have 4 cats. I said to her, ‘Mom, I don’t see how you can function without cats,’ wherein she replied, ‘I am just too selfish. You’re much more giving.’
Me? Giving? I am like the most self-absorbed person in the world. (Aside from the Mid Rangers, lol.) It was strange to hear her say this b/c my mom is always sending me stuff and thinking of me while I always come across too busy–I’d rather just send flowers or something easy.
Anyway, I realize how narcissistic I am sounding. A part of me has been scared though. It’s like that scene when Atreyu faces himself in the mirror. He comes to realize he is Bastian, or rather, the other way around.
Have I mentioned how much I loved that film as a kid? Anyway, great reading HG.

I read this and instantaneously recalled Artax’s death in the Swamp of Sadness. Atreyu loved him, but it just wasn’t enough. It’s the scene I most remember. 😭😭😭
It´s like ME looking the mirror. Exactly that´s what I said before I took EDC and TDC. I knew I am high in narcissistic traits, so I was not even sure that I am an Empath at all. The results were a huge surprise 😉
