That was my whole marriage..
Cup Cakes, I am so sad for you, to have had this experience. Bring away from our narcissists is nice.
Its sad for the children as they never derserved this. For me it was a bad dream and experience.Another example was there was a gathering of my childrens friends and my ex told there friends that they have only been with one partner and doesnt know how it is too be with somebody else and once my children asked her why shes so disrespectful thats when the response was why are you talking to your parent this why.Imagine?and then went on to day look how badly my children behave.Disgusting behaviour and immature. All for attention.
Another occassion my ex would blame the sinking of the marriage or sinking of the boat on the children. The attention had to be only on my ex not the children.I was blamed for not disciplining the children. How can you allow the other parent to tolerate this kind of disgusting abuse? And in order for the ex not to be accountable for there actions it was very very easy for them to play victim and the disgusting sorrow game with the fake tears.Education is important for make people wise and eliminate the toxic from there lives.
Cup Cakes,
You may just have hit on an answer to a question I recently asked. We do need to eliminate the toxic from our lives, and know how to keep it away. Thank you.
I feel so sad for the children too. So sad.
Its sad for the children.Children are smart and I learn from them aswell.
I do also. I remember the first time realizing my children could teach me something. My oldest was about 3 and she made a comment that was life-changing. Up to that point I had been under the impression that parents knew all and were the only givers, children the given to. This realization was a relief, I had no clue how to raise children but here she was, telling me what she needed! It was awesome.
