Ok, I would have used ‘cluck’ had it been real chickens in the pics, HG. I am assuming that the sound that is made by RUBBER chickens that is a honk ?! Or it may be a squeak, squeak? It may make different sounds if the neck is being wrung….. so does it really matter? (laughing……)

Did a production of “Comedy of Errors,” in which the kitchen maid (a six-foot bearded actor in drag) tried to entice “her’ Dromio (the wrong twin, of course) by waving (variously, in different performances) hot water bottles, hand-cuffs, a Rocky Horror-style corset, and the inevitable rubber chicken. Nobody knew what he’d use from one show to the next, and it made Dromio’s reaction (and the audience’s) all the more priceless.
Violetta, well, thank your for sharing that……LOL abut that ‘anything’ can be used and no-one knows about it beforehand! Ah, bless, the rubber chicken…..I remember the first time I commented about that and I’ve owned one! LOL.
