Thank you for this HG, it explains so much about my experience particularly in the workplace. The described behaviour, different layers of attempts to exert control and well the responses I’ve received to my action/inaction. Particularly the triangulation, emails, attempts to shame in public meetings etc

I’ve always been curious about this because I swear guys seem to get quite around me. I can see they want to say something wild. However,they keep it short and simple and I do too 😂. You have confirmed narcissists don’t get quiet. Therefore, I wonder ,what crossed my path?
It is the other way around. The Super Empath becomes silent around the narcissist knowing something is off. Excellent video HG.

That´s a good one! 😂 I remember when this new co-worker came. I did not know what to think about her. There was something about her, I didn´t like at all. Everybody found her charming, the boss was overwhelmed and I sat there thinking “Hrm. There´s just something very strange about her, something is off with her, cannot point my finger on it, but I smell trouble”. Guess what: JACKPOT! An arrogant, haughty UPPER MID RANGER! 🙄
I really must get my partner to do an EDC. I mentioned elsewhere I think he is a Standard Magnet/Geyser. I do not think he is Super at all.

Yes, I’m majority Geyser. He’s got to be majority Magnet. I’ll ask him later this week, he’s had rough several days now. But he’s also Geyser, not animated, but he can’t hide his expressions. I think it’s the cutest. 😆

This begs the question: would an aware narcissist behave any differently to an unaware narcissist in this respect around a Super Empath?

Any chance you could tell us what type of manipulations?
If they are still based on the three assertions of control, then is it one of the subsets of manipulations (less obvious, more charm attached, possibly more ‘observant’ as a means to determine the manipulations required?) I’m thinking an aware narcissist would be ‘canny’ in this regard and his/her observations would mean a degree of silence, or waiting and watching, while they decide how best to ensnare the Super Empath and keep them ensnared.
So very interesting and explains an awful lot!
