Thank you Ella, I absolutely agree with you about HG acting as methadone! Isn’t it great to have the best of narcissists in our lives (albeit not in real life)?!

This one was the most helpful and informative so far. I really related to what she was saying about knowing your dark side and how your traits react to the narcissist aka stressors. She thought, like me, that she was the narcissist and we both ended up being empaths. Her childhood and how she responded to it, sounded very similar to mine and how I dealt with it. I have narcissistic friends also and I manage to still have a friendship with them. I’m just careful how much time I spend with them. The interview was most helpful, thank you HG, for sharing them with us.

This one really resonated with me. I don’t like the pitied looks either. I just want answers and understanding, not pity. I also don’t like the word victim either. We may have been victims as children because we didn’t have a choice but now we are survivors!
