Invidia. HG: A common theme I see in this article, and others, and YouTube is the narcissists need to create a drama, a conflict, negativity where they get relegated to a position where they can abuse.

    1. Is this true?
    2. I get it’s about control/attention but is it also what psychologists would say recreating a childhood wound where the narc recreates drama as he/she grew up in it and it feels more normal like the air that they breathe then a calm content stable environment….then as obviously an abused child becomes the abuser to heal the wound by assenting to the role of control/power? Or the role their parent once played?
    3. Is this why narcs are their own worse enemy as drama/conflict/abuse rarely results in success in a family dynamic? And are they incapable in understanding this? As again it’s as natural and innate as the air that they breathe?
    4. Are there certain classifications such as lessers more prone to create this drama/conflict or do all narcs do it as living in a stable environment cannot be?

Thank you in advance if you respond and my best to you in 2024!!!!

    1. HG Tudor says:

      1. Narcissists create drama and conflict as there are standard routes towards the prime aims.
      2. Not all narcissists grew up in drama. It is about the Prime Aims, not the creation of the childhood environment. Certainly the childhood environment played its part (lack of control environment) and thus has resulted in the narcissist being hypersensitive to the issue of control.
      3. It results in collateral consequences.
      4. Certain narcissists are more likely to create drama than others because of differing behaviours regarding the veneer and the facade and differing levels of control over the ignited fury.
