This concept was so foreign when I arrived at narcsite, it took at least a year to sink in and really start getting a handle on it. And by handle I mean what it is. The conscious control of it has only come since then. The idea of having an addiction was fairly easy to accept but what that addiction causes, how it functions, what it actually feels like in various stages, there is a lot to this piece. This assistance package is so helpful in figuring all this out, my part in the system we create with the narc, and how to stop it. Honestly, when I arrived, I absolutely didn’t see what I’d done in my relationships, but knew there had to be something because it always takes two. I knew unless I figured this out and changed it, I was on a path to repeating. Can’t express my gratitude enough for HG and narcsite being here to finally show me what needed changing and how to go about it.
