Knowing the Narcissist : The Desire to Destroy the Narcissist

I know you hate me. Your kind are filled with love and then filled with hate. There is no need to deny it. It is a normal reaction for someone like you and one which I entirely endorse and encourage.

I know you will try and mask that burning anger that you feel by saying you pity me or that you have nothing but contempt for me but I can see it. Those sensational eyes of yours that once blazed with desire, passion and most of all hope, are now filled with the churning, billowing flames of hatred.

Some of you will fight to contain this sensation. You fear that by giving in to this hatred that you will somehow be on a level with me. I can ease your fears in that regard. You are nowhere near my level and nor were you. I placed you far higher than me to begin with. Yes it was artificial and all part of my design but you had no complaint then did you? You did not object or demur when I thrust you skywards and planted you on that pedestal. Of course you did not.

Who would?

Nobody would and least of all somebody like you. Now you are on your true level, way down below me, cast onto stony ground, broken and shattered. Amazing though isn’t it how you managed to summon such an anger from somewhere. How many times had you said to your confidantes that you felt numb (yes they were reporting back to me). Yet now look at you. A seething, glowering fireball of hatred and it is all directed at me. I adore this.

You want to destroy me. I know you do. You all do. The one before you was exactly the same as the one before was and the one before her. The next one will be just the same, although I do expect that she might just be different and somehow avoid the mistakes all those who have gone before have made.

I have seen this hatred many times and your desire for revenge is strong. Of course it is. I made it this way. Everything I did as I brought you down low was programmed to cause you to eventually explode into hatred. From elation to despair, through broken to numb. Eventually the switch would be flicked and as puppet master I ignite the fire beneath you which stokes the flames of hatred.

Despise me, go on, do it. Send those wicked words towards me. Tell me what a bastard I am. Keep it coming. Pull your hair, wave your fist and stamp your feet. Tell me how you are going to scratch my car. Feels good does it not? Believe me, it feels even better being on the receiving end of your bile and hate.

Go on, sit with your friends and plot your revenge, I can feel you all huddled around your cauldron as you try and concoct ways at getting back at me. I feel so powerful knowing you are focussed on seeking retribution. This is what I want. I want to bask in the heat of your anger, I want to be covered in the disgust and distaste that you will spew towards me.

I want you scheming, hatching and planning. By hurting you so deeply I plant inside you that overwhelming desire to get even with me. It happens every time and is all part of my master plan to ensure you, my beautiful appliance keep pouring fuel in my direction. I make you seek revenge for in doing so, your planning and ham-fisted execution of the same give me what I want. Fuel.

You are blinded with your hatred so that you fail to realise you will not succeed in gaining revenge, not by shouting, spitting and scratching. Oh no, this overload of howling anger is just a banshee of fuel to me. I will twist and shift as I thwart your attempts, laughing at your pathetic efforts to try and get one over on me. This will spur you on as I lead you on yet another merry dance as I continue to take from you exactly what I need.

All you will do by obsessing over trying to bring me down is remain ensnared. True, we may no longer be in a Formal Relationship as husband and wife any longer, but you are continuing to engage with me. You are thinking about how to bring me down, you are discussing how hateful I am with your friends, you are stalking my online activity, you drive past where I work and where I live to see what I am doing as you plot and hatch.

All you are doing is keeping me alive in your mind, making it easier and easier for me to stay there. Your emotional thinking was too high to begin with as a consequence of the ensnarement and then the unanswered questions when I disengaged from you. You failed to drain your emotional thinking.

You failed to allow your logic to gain any kind of foothold. You have read, watched and listened but there is no room for it to sink in because your emotional thinking was too high and furthermore it remains too high. It remains too high because your desire to destroy me, to exact revenge and see me suffer keeps feeding that emotional thinking.

Round and round your thoughts go. You think you are feeling better, no longer sad, no longer hurting, but the anger that has replaced those feelings (or perhaps has temporarily overridden them) means that you have lost insight.

Your emotional thinking has you in its grip. It, in its usual cunning way, has conned you into thinking that you have moved forward by causing you to think that this anger, this planning, this desire to destroy is evidence of progress and recovery.

It is not.

It is too soon. Too soon from your disengagement. Too soon from your escape. Too soon from the hoovering.

All you are doing is engaging with me once more. My reactions may seem one of anger and irritation, but that is just my self-defence mechanism responding in order to assert my superiority once again as I draw on your Challenge Fuel. You are not wounding me. I repeat, you are not wounding me.

Your attacks against me are surrounded by venom, anger and annoyance. Thus it is Challenge Fuel. This just fuels me and my responses cause you to think you are getting to me, you are not, those reactions are designed, an instinctive response by my narcissism, to make you think you are getting somewhere, to make you give me more fuel and to allow me to assert my superiority over you as that must always be done.

Your desire for revenge is premature. You must reduce your emotional thinking through a robust no contact, you must build your Logic Defences and allow them to gain a foothold and then bring that reduced emotional thinking under control. This takes time, many months, to achieve.

Yet once done, with that emotional thinking at a far lower level and with logic prevailing, any remaining desire to destroy (and often it has now faded with the diminution of emotional thinking) means that it will be deployed from a distance, with cool, hard calculation and if you do so in accordance with the steps set out in my work Revenge then you will avoid being ensnared, you will avoid messing up the revenge campaign and you are far, far more likely to meet with success.

But if you fail to heed these wise words and think you know better. If you think you are ready now to effect revenge, with ill-preparation and rampant emotional thinking then please do seek it.

You will not get it.

Those with a conservative lean will be more likely to write anti Biden comments on a video about him. Many in HG’s audience are socially/politically conservative.

    1. Annaamel, I’m not sure why you assume many in HG’s audience are socially/politically conservative. I’m happy to nail my colours to the mast, but I don’t necessarily see a lot of other people doing that, at least not here, nor on YT for that matter. The negative comments about Biden far outweighed the continuing positive comments regarding Trump, and I think that’s because people can see what an absolute disaster Biden has been for the US Presidency in comparison to Trump whose policies many people seemed to appreciate even if they didn’t appreciate the man himself. At least that was the gist from a number of comments on the recent Trump video. The most sympathetic I felt for Biden was when he visited Ireland recently and he got a ‘rockstar’ reception. I doubt he’s experienced anything like that during his whole Presidency and finally got a glimpse of what Trump must have experienced during the whole of his Presidency and even after – in spite of all the attempts to discredit him which are ongoing. Biden, sadly in some ways, felt at home in Ireland and was more welcome there due to Ireland’s long history with the American continent alongside the achievement of its aspirations for independence. Ireland looks longingly at America, while Joe looks longingly at Ireland wishing his own people could appreciate him as the man he thinks he is … the man who hopes 81 million people will vote for him again in two years time.

      1. annaamel says:

I probably see many here and especially on YT as conservative because I’m not and it stands out to me. Similarly, as a conservative, any slightly liberal comments will stand out to you. You will not notice conservative comments as much. I would not dream of casually staying my political opinions on this site because I’d expect huge push back. But you feel comfortable doing so, possibly since you anticipate agreement and endorsement.

I consider myself an outlier on this blog, not because I haven’t experienced abuse but because I don’t use the term woke, I don’t have any interest in Meghan Markle and don’t tune into conservative media where she’s a common topic (she never comes up in the papers I read) and if in the US I’d vote Biden over any republican candidate. I don’t complain about people of colour using it when it suits them or transgender people using bathrooms. I don’t talk about media censorship of important ideas. I certainly see no value in citizens keeping guns for their own protection. These are not talking points in my world. They are conservative talking points.

        1. HG Tudor says:

You remind me of many politicians, you tell us what you aren’t but fail to tell us what you are.

          1. annaamel says:

I realise my above comment is critical. I’ve made a few critical posts recently. I will probably make more on occasion. Something starts to niggle at me, I respond and before I know it I’m saying more than I initially intended when I began the post.

I like (and would’ve voted for were I in NZ) Jacinda Ardern. I admire Super Saviours like Steve Buschemi. Three of my favourite films are the Tarantino triplet of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained because they take a historical injustice and try to correct it.

        2. Annaamel, that is so interesting, that you retain your point of view about conservatives and their presence while decrying it at the same time. It was you who brought up the point and which prompted me to challenge the idea. I don’t think you have clarified your point except to say you do not share conservative views and believe neither your political views, nor those of others, have a place here. Yet, you make of point of pointing out your own views by stating for one that you would vote for Joe Biden again. The talking points that don’t exist in your world certainly take up a lot of room in your comment.

Talking points are just that – talking points. That means there are different perspectives and both are entitled to be heard. What we recognise here is that politicians of whatever hue are often narcissists and narcissism can factor into their behaviour. Our perspective may change in recognising that, or they may not. Sometimes it just confirms our biases. Sometimes it doesn’t affect our bias as we see value in their efforts. Either way, HG has given us material to work with in discerning what is at work in these political situations and so we can expect to see a variety of opinions around that.

By all means, consider yourself an outlier, but I don’t believe that is the case. What is the case is that others will have their own opinions and perspectives that won’t necessarily agree with yours. That is no reason to feel like an outlier. It is simply a matter of fact that we have graciously been invited to vent our spleens here and I have accepted the invitation. It seems to me you have also accepted that invitation. Agreeing to disagree is a valid position to take.

          1. annaamel says:

‘It was you who brought up the point and which prompted me to challenge the idea.’
I can understand it looks that way but I had initially been trying to respond to your comment about anti Biden comments on the recent Biden video. Unfortunately my posting went wrong and it ended up as a separate comment. I can see how it’d look like I was initiating the discussion.

All my posts in this thread are responses.

I see myself as a “classical leftist” (Europe). But I´m absolutely anti-woke! It´s not hard to do a little research about woke-culture, H.G. also explains a lot here in his blog and on YT. With a little more research, it´s not hard to find out, WHO is sponsoring and financially supporting this whole “Woke”- 💩! In my home country it is even very well known, who is paying, who is sponsoring and supporting this 💩 As soon as you know who stands behind this LBGTQ+, BLM, The New Green Deal and all that stuff, it is VERY clear, that this cannot be “left” or “liberal”! Impossible! It´s not about protecting nature or respecting everybody, it´s about PROFIT! All about profit and money and power! There they are: the Greaters! With all their money, their NGOs and their need to assert control over ALL of us, destroying family values, religious values, traditions, cultures! I´m a European leftist (which is not the same as an US-leftist), but I´m also a Christian and stand for Christian values!

    2. A Victor says:

I think right now many left leaning Americans are pretty disgusted with Biden also. And I’ve had the opposite impression, that many here are more liberal. I wonder what makes us think the way we do.

      1. AV, good question, and I’m not sure what ultimately forms our impressions, but I would agree with your assessment. I think media in general influences, and often skews, public thinking – some may be surprised to read your comment about left leaning individuals and Joe Biden. When it comes to KTN and the blog, I think we have a freedom here to express our views that is lacking in many other places, which gives an insight into others perspectives. In general, I find ‘liberal’ views much more welcome in the world today and that may be why we see more of those views being expressed. Perhaps Annaamel is seeing below the surface here, but on the surface I’d have to agree with you.

        1. A Victor says:

          Hi LET,

I am not sure why that would surprise people, I know people who are saying they’ve voted Democrat their entire lives but will be voting Republican if Biden wins the primaries. A lot of people I know on both sides of the aisle are sick of the PC stuff and the trans agenda in schools. I think they view Biden as behind those things at some level. It has surprised me but many people are tired of woke. Also, Biden’s poll approval numbers have dropped steadily, in general, for a while now.

I do not feel freedom, or have a desire, to express political views here, along with views on some other topics, but those things are not why I’m here anyway so it has not mattered to me. Plus, I am very careful expressing those views anywhere, my hesitance is not reflective of the blog, it just makes no sense in my mind to “fight” for politics, or whatever, when the topic at hand is narcissism. It also makes me queasy when politics are discussed here, I generally try to avoid those conversations altogether. We know narcissists will agree with whatever serves them best at that moment. Anyway, I commented here because I was surprised by Annaamel’s comment, I feel she may have missed some previous conversations regarding politics.

Fwiw, I have a lot of respect for the way you handle yourself in these conversations since I feel you are the “underdog” as far as your stance and the numbers. Given a different venue, we could have some excellent conversations, I am sure. I also agree that the media sways thinking, which I find interesting since narcissists influence so much of our thinking via entertainment media, music etc already. They do so with politics also but there are narcissists on both sides…yet the media largely sticks with one side. I wonder about that at times.

Also, I absolutely love HG’s dissections of politicians who are narcissists, so much learning to be had in those.

          1. Hi AV, I appreciate your perspective on the focus here being about narcissism and more often than not I try to keep it that way, though there are some issues that grab my attention in a way I find hard to resist. It’s impossible not feel things ‘ramping up’ and the challenges that presents. The level of cognitive dissonance being created by narcissists in the world right now practically leaves me speechless, and I think that’s were some of the reluctance to speak comes in … it’s almost impossible not to offend somebody somewhere somehow and in some way. People may be starting to feel like the news anchor on “Network” –

It’s either speak and offend, or don’t speak and self censor. Neither is satisfactory, but at least by sharing our thoughts we have a hope of connecting in an authentic way. I’m sure we could have some excellent conversations and I wonder about things the same as you 🙂

Biden is openly endorsing the transgender agenda, and this ‘top down’ imposition is happening everywhere, especially via companies that are ignoring their customer base in order to satisfy the requirements of investment management groups and ESG frameworks. Only today, I saw Adidas is running ads similar to that of an Australian swimwear company and putting a biological male in women’s swimwear. Starbucks in India (I didn’t know they had outlets there either) is promoting transgenderism through a new advertisement causing many of the Hindu population to object to this blatant politicking, and the US Ambassador to Japan is getting the backs of Japanese conservatives up by being pushy around the LGBT+ agenda as they consider new legislation. It goes on and on and on and on. The moment I see an article with an individual described as they/them, I have to stop reading because the corruption of the language is like nails being scraped down a blackboard for me.

Anyway, thank you for sharing your thoughts. It does make a difference sometimes to know you are not alone and in some ways the world is becoming a very lonely place xox

          2. Hi AV, I replied to this comment, but my reply has not been posted.

I agree we could have some excellent conversations given a different venue Just glad we can partake in conversation here and I thank you for your comment.

Definitely a lot of learning to be had here, and in a variety of flavours, too. Politics, like religion, is a touchy subject for many with the issues becoming ever more divisive. Those are topics we were taught should never be brought up in ‘polite’ company many years ago, along with sex! In some ways they may have had that right, in allowing people to maintain whatever beliefs they held without it interfering with their social interactions. So called ‘social media’ has had a detrimental affect in that respect. Society has never more ‘anti social’ in many respects.

When it comes to media, I have become tired of the one way narrative which doesn’t allow for other perspectives and which forces us all into a straitjacketed type of thinking. Whole swathes of the population are discounted and there is no question of dissent. Journalists also rank highly in terms of professions when it comes to narcissism. Unfortunately, these are the people we rely on – politicians (to make decisions about our society) and journalists (to question the decisions politicians are making about our society). When the two begin operating hand in hand, we have a problem.

Anyway, off on another trajectory, so I’ll stop there. It’s been good to chat 🙂

          3. A Victor says:

Yes, we certainly did have restrictions on certain topics historically! And I do tend to abide by those still, though I comment plenty on venues designed for those things. I love blogging, in case no one caught that!

I agree about society being more anti-social in many ways than ever before, it is quite sad to me.

I also agree about the issue of journalists and politicians joining ranks, big trouble for the common person who might think differently than their set status quo.

Thank you also, as always, a pleasure.

  2. Joa says:

Once I hate and disgust, there’s no way back. Never. You are not in my life and never will be. I can visit your grave.

A very rare event. Only once in my life.

If we fight, it means I haven’t hated you yet. I am angry, hurt, furious or distraught. It hurts or fucking irritates me.

    Hate precludes any contact.

There’s nothing to talk about anymore. Everything has been exhausted.

  3. Jordyguin says:

To be more specific about the question: If one fear hate, does one fear love as well?

Nr 1: The question of Fear because emotions of one kind die as others replace them. Or emotions of one kind were never allowed to be expressed, and the person (subconsciously) fear them because of the learned lessons of repercussions…… I find this to be part of the Fear of Death you spoke about in the Ease of Control…… The fear to feel certain emotions because it would mean the death of certain other emotional (hormonal) state — thus the death of the IDEA of what one is, would die with it…… Being taught to be a good girl/boy comes along with fear of being the opposite – a DEADLY SIN……not only is it wrong but will be punished in afterlife…… Atheists fall prey to the same concept of fearing punishment (thus suppressing this fear via other concepts) since the fear of MISBEHAVING is integrated in our upbringing and surroundings upon entering this life (societal unspoken agreement on superiority-inferiority model – the competitive base of survival constructs.)

Nr 2: The fear to express an emotion without questioning, judging it — let’s say the emotion of upset was forbidden for the child to express when a child was treated with injustice by the parent — thus the authentic expression of what was RIGHT for the child to feel and express, was hindered in its function.
There is no way that; one emotion was taught correctly and others don’t, because the APPARATUS of emotional production was censored in its impeccable reliance. What to feel and to express was dismantled and bolted together in the amateur way, by those whose apparatus has gone through the same amateur dismantling….

Nr 3: If one fear hate, does one fear love as well?
Hate sums up other emotions and memories. What is hate/fury really? A bulk of habits of how to deal with the world; to play the role of good girl/boy. Or the villain…or the hero, savior etc. etc. etc.

I wonder if the way your kind and my kind regard love and hate/fury; the duality of this two or the suppression of one emotion or the other – is the optimum one possible? ……Being engulfed by emotions of the confusion, upon our entrance in a certain parental dynamic; imprinting rules on us which aren’t even ours (taught construct)……is it all we are capable of?

    1. Contagious says:

They say anger is fear turned inside out. Hate is the flip side of love. So it would seem to me that anger drives hate. And that hate is towards love. Anger at love or lack of it when it was needed. There’s one more: anger thrown burns the person you hit but burns the thrower too.

  4. Jordyguin says:

„My only love sprung from my only hate, Too early seen unknown, and known too late.“ ……such an interesting concept…. If one fears hate, does one fears love as well?

    1. annaamel says:

Jordyguin, this line is not really about hate and love coming from the same place and so if hate is not felt nor can love be. Maybe I’ve misinterpreted your comment. The line is regarding feeling love for someone you were taught (by your parents) to hate. Thinking someone had to be your enemy but realising they’re actually better for you or closer to who you are than those who might be within your own group. It’s really a comment on the misapplication of hate – and how applying it to a whole group of people as ‘the enemy’ is not useful or logical or correct.

      1. Jordyguin says:

Helloo Annaamel! Yep..! The meaning in the context of the tragedy, of how you described it, agree! Well put!……The genius of Shakespeare, however, is that his wordings are combined in such a manner, as to also contemplate outside of the context of the plot.. To this day, he is perhaps, even ahead of OUR time……There are double meanings, if not more, which may aha!! within us, in different contexts……(Shakespeare is multiplicity!!..SHAKE- stir up variables and SPEAR one, or more..)
„My only love sprung from my only hate, Too early seen unknown, and known too late.“ — Extract it and there is a whole ANOTHER UNIVERSE..!
……“Too early seen unknown, and known too late“ ..there is the UNKNOWN which is “to early seen“ — perception-wise we SEE, perceive with 5+1 senses the UNKNOWN in our early childhood before we are given the KNOWN of how to interpret the Unknown……“known to late“ — when we may finally realise, that we’ve been living via the PRE-BAKED perception from others, it becomes “known to late“ because our time is limited……
……“My only love sprung from my only hate“ — We KNOW only ONE version of Love and Hate, as it alternates throughout our existence……We are not taught other versions, or OTHER choices…… just only one Love and Hate, and it rules in many ways the history of our planet on repeat……repeated in plots and stories of tragedy genre……Love and Hate, are Emotions; Instincts; Concepts; Personal Patterns from our childhood; Traumas to the depths of our genes.. via species and species.. but we ALSO come from an infinite live source, basically.. made by the dust of stars and things we don’t know and will probably never know or understand……Love and Hate is SOMETHING ELSE… or MAY be ALSO something else, in addition to what we already know within our conditioning of ONLY ONE possibility of “My only love sprung from my only hate“……In the context to „The Desire to Destroy the Narcissist“ ..there may be an interesting reason for it..! It makes me think..

  5. Leela_Z says:

Well, urm, yeah, I apologize, but there´s no other way for self-defense against a certain Mid Ranger than a nice little “Z”. 🤷‍♀️ Because ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

    A terrible destructive emotion. Thanatos.

I have never experienced hate. Nor do I wish to. It is ugly.

    1. Leela_Z says:

I do! Why? For what “they” did to us! Because “they” came leeching on a once wonderful, peaceful, prospering country. So, “they” came and destroyed and took almost everything for themselves! Millions of people are suffering now because of “them”. May “they” rot in hell! Supernova or Cliff Fightback? I don´t know! I just know one thing: Z!!!!

      1. Joa says:

        I “love” this Russian fanaticism…

When you kick “Z”, you get “N”:

No. Ni. Niet. Nie. Non. Nein. Nu. Ne. Nem. Nei. Nej. Nao.

        1. Leela_Z says:

Of course I understand. I have no problem with that. I´m absolutely aware that the “Z” is not everybodys thing. In my situation though, there´s NO OTHER way! And I know WHAT Mr. W.P. is, but in many aspects, he´s RIGHT! I would support ANY country, ANY president who fights against Sleepy Joe! The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Understand? 😉 And I don´t give a shit, who that is!

          1. Joa says:

“Vladimir Putin has the right.” It’s all about you.

“Z” is nothing. An old, rusty tank, criminal cannon meat and thousands of graves.

          2. Leela_Z says:

There´s no other way for us! There´s nobody who can help us, only a Psychopath.

      2. Anna says:

That just gives the narcissist more supply/fuel. Any emotion does. Best thing is to go no contact. Ignore them. This is best for you to move on. They are not worth your time or energy.

I have never experienced hate. I have felt love and joy. I remember that feeling. I do miss it terribly. Years of narcissistic abuse have made me numb. Trauma I guess. I can choose to feel if I wish to, but most often it is more comfortable to be numb.

I noticed this numb state enables me to think logically. Kill with kindness. Be polite and kind. You would be surprised at all the things that open up to you when you have the ultimate control over your emotions.

        1. Leela_Z says:

I would love to GOSO, but for that I have to leave my home country. Where should I go? The narcissists and psychopaths are sitting in positions of POWER!! In our government!! And in many many other governments as well!

          1. Anna says:

            @ Leela_Z

Yes this is very true, but at least we are aware of it.
Try to go about your life as best you can. Enjoy every moment. Do not let them grind you down.

          2. Leela_Z says:

Agree! You are RIGHT! 👍Hard to stay positive these days, but there´s hope! 👍♥️

          3. Contagious says:

            Thank you very much! ❤️🥰

          5. annaamel says:

Which country are you praying for, Contagious?

        2. Leela_Z says:

Genereally speaking: I´m normally polite and kind. Normally I´m always ready to help and figure out problems. But if anyome theatens me, my life or my family, if anyone tries to destroy my home, I´m sorry to say that, but I KICK THEIR ASS and an I kick it HARD! And I support ANYBODY who is willing to kick their ass! Because the enemy of my enemy is my friend! Kindness works until a certain degree, yes! But some people need and deserve HARD ASSKICKS, they don´t understand any other language!!!

          1. Anna says:

            Family are everything. 💓

          2. Leela_Z says:

I LOVE your attitude. I really do! And normally I would agree. But I´m an ACON (adult child of a narcissist). So, not so sure if MY family is really everthing 😉

          3. A Victor says:

Leela, so sorry you are suffering. I wish there was a real way to help. Nice to see you but I wish the circumstances were better for you.

          4. Leela_Z says:

Thank you very much, AV! Yes, many people are suffering at the moment, but you know what school and cadre of Empath I am: good at staying strong and good at finding solutions. I´m sure there WILL be a solution, even more than one, but at the moment it´s difficult. But there WILL be a way, even if this means: leave the country and start a new life somewhere else.

      3. Leela, I’m not sure if you’re former “Leela’s Fuel Stinks!”, but either way I see you have Joe Biden in your crosshairs. I only saw negative comments in relation to him in HG’s recent Biden YT video. It has become a familiar chant over the last couple of years in the States from what I’ve observed. I’m just wondering if you’re comment relates to U.S. foreign policy with regards to Ukraine? Who is the “they” you are talking about? I sense your anger and pain. If it helps, I’m glad you have vented your spleen. I’m just not 100% sure who you’re anger is directed against.

        1. Leela_Z says:

Yes, I am “leelasfuelstinks”: it´s now Leela_Z. 😁 And yes, my attitude is indeed “Let´s go Brandon!” And there are many reasons for it. The US is not only occupying poor little Ukraine and using them as puppet, no! They are using MANY European countries as their “coterie”, as they puppets. Since Mr. Biden and the US-Oligarchs have occupied our country, EVERYTHING goes DOWNHILL!!! RAPIDLY! Before, the Russians have ALWAYS been our friends and reliable trade-partners. And now come those from the US, blow up our infrastructure, spoil our relationship and friendship with Russia, which were extremely beneficial. We NEVER EVER had ANY problems with Russia! Everything was fine, we were a prospering nation. But we had ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWYAYS (!!) beef with the US-imperialists! Always beef with USA!

          1. Hi Leela, yours is a very different perspective from those we are used to hearing and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. By all accounts, you are in Ukraine, and if so I want to offer my wish for your continuing safety. Personally, I have the impression that the US is fighting a proxy war with Russia and Ukraine is caught in the middle. This is obvious from the element of financial and military support being offered to Ukraine to continue fighting rather than both sides being brought to the negotiating table, and the blatant begging for more from Zelensky who never seems to be satisfied with what he has been given (leaving other countries resources depleted) and who frankly operates with a sense of complete entitlement. I can’t imagine Ukrainians in general want to see the ongoing destruction of their country, and loss of their loved ones, for the sake of what might be deemed a ‘pyrrhic victory’.in the long run. It is distressing to think your country had a reasonable relationship with Russia prior to outside influence and interference. I also understand you are referring to policy and not people when it comes to the U.S. There are some, perhaps many from around the world, who would say “not in my name”, and I am one of them.

          2. Leela_Z says:

Fortunately, I´m not in the Ukraine. I only have Ukrainian (former Sovjet Union) ancestors. I´m a little bit of a “Nomad”, currenty in Central Europe. I´m not even citizen of the country I live in but it FEELS like home to me. It´s my home, no matter where I came from (Eastern Europe, to be honest 😁). As an originally Eastern European I had a lot of experiences with Russia (former Sovjet Union) and I honestly have to say that they were GOOD! Never ever beef with Russia! Never ever beef with president W.P.! And poor Ukraine is not in between but Sleepy Joes puppet!!! Some American investors, f.e. Mr. “Kill Bill” G. have bought land there, they have their investments there and Ukraine has TITANIUM!! – which the US-oligarchs WANT! Titanium is very valuable for the arms industry and the US WANTS IT! Ukraine has also other valuable resources which the US-imperialists want. And Selenskij? Well, he´s an ACTOR, let´s not forget about that, that he´s a professional actor. 😁 I personally think that he´s also a narcissist. Selenskij is just Sleepy Joes little puppet-pet. Sleepy Joe and other American investors want the mineral ressources of the Ukraine for THEMSELVES! And here comes the “Z”!!! and the “Ami go home!!” 👎💩 And the biggest looser of all this is poor little Ukraine! 😔

          3. Leela, glad to know you are safe and thanks for the further explanation. It helps to understand your perspective and is interesting in and of itself. Some people think Joe Biden is a puppet, too.

The point I would like to touch on is your comment about Zelensky being a narcissist. Beginning with the fact he is/was an actor, and a comedian no less, it seems to me he is ‘playing a part’ in many ways. He constantly wears his ‘fatigues’, or army uniform (even though he is not a soldier), and this is all part of the ‘act’. He wants to be seen on the world stage as the fighting man who has no time to dress appropriately as a politician to meet Presidents and other politicians. The other thing I notice is he’s been meeting with a lot of other actors! Mainly US actors, but they want to be seen with him and showing their support. There’s an element of ‘celebrity’ about him that I find incongruent in the circumstances. The most incongruent thing of all was his and his wife’s appearance on the cover of Vogue magazine. At a time of war, when his people are suffering, Zelensky decides to do a photoshoot with Vogue.

In other words, he is strutting the world stage like a celebrity and has many people in his thrall because they are concerned about the suffering of the people in Ukraine. Get him off the stage, I say, so that the people’s suffering might be brought to an end. His demands for more weaponry means his people must carry more of the burden for fighting this war. That is what I am concerned about. It’s like he’s inviting the destruction of the country, even worse inviting a nuclear response and the start of WWIII. A responsible leader would be calling for negotiations to end the suffering, which extends further than Ukraine, and now the Africans have thrown their hat in the ring as negotiators to help ensure issues around food shortages don’t have a dire impact on their continent.

Personally, I find Zelensky to be entitled, arrogant, petulant (he was not allowed to speak at the Eurovision contest, so very quickly made a complaint about where the contest was being held – i.e. “not good enough”, the narcissist’s mantra), demanding, superior and not charismatic at all, which would not put him in the Greater category for me.

I’m not a fan of this man and maybe it is because he is a narcissist.

        2. Leela_Z says:

Aw, to make it clear: My anger is directed on the US-government, the US-oligarchs, those narcissists and psychopaths (NOT the common US-people of course, it´s not their fault) and OUR own government which is FULL of narcissists, who are licking Sleepy Joes ass!
