My question is , if the person I’m involved with turns out to be a narcissist, they stopped talking to me suddenly, after a 5 year relationship and no fight had taken place , they would read my messages and not reply , and moved across the country , I was messaging with no response for a month , then I stopped for a month to see if I would hear from them , and then I got enraged and told them off via text , after that they blocked me from all forms of communication, this was about six months ago , what would you call this ? And would I expect to ever hear from them again?
1. You need to establish have you been dealing with a narcissist.
2. If you are, this behaviour was implementing silent treatments and subjecting you to the shelf dynamic.
3. You state they have blocked you, this (dependent on duration) was either a silent treatment or disengagement.
4. If they are a narcissist, there is always a risk that you will hear from them again, you can manage that risk through the rigorous implementation of a no contact regimen.
