Very interesting!
I think the person I ended up here over did something similar. Although not a mid ranger, and I don’t think he was doing it for pity plays as described in the scenario in the video. But I think he did it to lure women.
He already has the boyish charm thing going on upon first impression, and I think a cute little dog just augments that. So he’d posts photos of his dog, or selfies with him and the dog, and people would post gushing comments and he’d get a flurry of likes. I did wonder if he was using the cute dog as a lure (probably unconsciously), so I’m glad to see an article on the topic.
