Your video on Russell Brand was excellent. Russell told Megyn Kelly that while he was exploitative in having sex with a 16 year old at 30, used to use his celebrity status to exploit sex, all relations were consensual. In October of this year the trial of 6 women for rape and sexual assault takes place in the UK.
Question: You have said in other criminal defendant cases that the narcissist narcissism will prevent the criminal from recognizing they did the crime. For example… Lucy Letby. This has always confused me. All criminals proclaim innocence. But they are usually aware they did it but deny it.
1. Is Russel aware of the actual acts he took?
2. Does Russell just see nothing wrong with what he did so he denies it. Lies.
3. Does Russell not recall, a complete memory blank so he makes up what he thinks happened in his favor?
4. If 3 is a yes, do narcissists have no access to memories from the past?
It’s interesting he writes books and speaks on how to be a good Christian.
5. Do you think he latched onto to Christianity to build a defense knowing charges were coming?
Personally I think some substance abusers turn to religion particularly Christianity (AA, NA) as it becomes their addiction, they tend to be zealous like Brand…

1. In some instances he knows what took place, in others he will not recall.
2. He sees nothing wrong either in that there was nothing problematic in respect of what he did or he understands OTHERS see it as wrong and he justifies it. For example, in relation to him having sex with a 16 year old when he was 30 years old, this is seen as grooming and a power imbalance which he exploited. He understands people see this as wrong and what he does is he condemns THAT Russell´s behaviour to make it seem like he is taking accountability, but he is not. He is simply blame shifting to the PAST Russell so that present Russell escapes accountability.
3. There will be occasions where there is a revision of history, yes.
4. Yes, they have access to memories but they are often revised.

6. There is force in that observation although with Brand it is his narcisssism at work rather than addiction.
