    HI HG,

I bought the book and have nearly finished reading it, but have a question.

I am plotting to take revenge on a narc boss, and have waited and planned. I am not an IPPS, and therefore i guess that means she will still be getting a source of fuel, from primary sources.

So, in a case such as this i guess she won’t be fully weakened by the denial of fuel, as she has an IPPS. Would this have an effect on my attacking the pillars?

Hello Greentop, thank you for reading. The Avenging IPPS of course pulls the plug on a major source of fuel for the narcissist (but other sources do exist). In the scenario you have described you will not reduce the fuel as much therefore you will have to look to strike with greater speed.

I would imagine I got a teensy bit of revenge the other day, however unintentional. T has been quite chummy at work and blatantly seeking me out and striking up conversations on the occasional shared breaks we have. During the last occasion of a shared break he had just begun to chat with me when my cell pinged with a message – my new beau arranging our next date – which of course occupied the rest of my break time. I could see T’s perplexed face as he hovered while I spent the rest of my break replying to the incoming messages. A smile on my face of course as I turned off my phone, pocketed it and went back to work as he stood there looking a touch bit confused.

He will have been struggling to keep his fury in check there as you ignored him for something else.

Awww the poor thing I’m such a turncoat when he’s been trying so hard with his attempts to reel me back in. I guess he didn’t believe me that I wouldn’t wait around to be used by him again.

I still think the best revenge is not replying to hoovers at all. I imagine narc is getting just a teensy bit frustrated with me… soon he may not bother with me at all. And I might be free. Yay! 🙂 I still think you give very good advice and knowledge to people, HG. People need to know all this on a deeper level, before they can detach. Be well. 🙂
