Cherished and Chastised

Understanding the narcissist is the key to achieving freedom from his or her manipulative wiles. Few people achieve it because the world view of the narcissist is distinctly different from that of other people. People make the mistake of regarding the actions and words of the narcissist from their own perspective. Once they regard these actions through the narcissistic lens then comprehension and knowledge can be achieved. How is this done? It is done by reading all about how the narcissist thinks and behaves, how he regards situations and why he responds in the way that he or she does. A series of observations awaits here which will give you further insight into the narcissistic mind direct from the narcissist himself and in turn you will gain knowledge. A useful and insightful tool that will assist you in grappling with the perversions and delinquencies of the narcissistic mind and thereafter enable you to achieve understanding and ultimately freedom.

Are you content with being a narcissist or would you rather be an empath, if that were possible? Do you have a choice?

    1. Cordelia says:

Have you posted previously about your story? What is your trauma? Was it your upbringing?

      1. HG Tudor says:

The details are contained in the books and comments on the blog with more material to be disclosed through further books Cordelia.

    2. HG Tudor says:

I am content with what I am. I cannot be an empath.

I’m new to your blog. Just now starting your books. I want to do a private consult, but I want to ask a good question, not a stupid question. I’m in awe of you, an evolved narcissist. I’m still wrapping my brain around it. Mind blown.

        1. HG Tudor says:

Thank you Cordelia, I shall wait to hear from you, I do hope you won’t commence the consultation with “Nothing my lord” !

            Nay. Philosopher, not playright.

Pass the savings onto the customer by selling their contributions back to them. Are you sure you’re not a pope? I’m definitely a preferred customer now. Where do I sign up?

I like the Steinbeck quote. ‘The only person you can trust is an absolutely selfish person. He always runs true to form. You know everything he’ll do. But you take somebody with an underlying kindness, and he might fool you. The only satisfactory sucker is the one who is entirely selfish. You never have any trouble with that kind.’
But then, once you can read the narc’s simple, rigid, predictable operating system it’s like, give me something new, tell me something fresh, surprise me, break out, for once in your life give instead of take, let that imperceptibly tiny fuel source pass by – just once. They can’t ever do it. Then it just becomes depressingly, numbingly boring.

So true. I have added… Chameleons to my construct of Narcs
This not completely scholarly, however poignant, quote follows…
“Chameleons or chameleons are a distinctive and highly specialized clade of Old World lizards with 202 species described as of June 2015. These species come in a range of colors, and many species have the ability to change color”. Wikipedia

I think you just called HG an old lizard lol.

      1. amsodone says:

Well NarcAngel, perhaps I did so indirectly, although not intentionally (I am empath we don’t do that). I think of HG as the Master Narc… others are littler narcs.
I thought chameleon fit with cherished and then chastised… and my narc experience involved a snake. Helps me to understand, compartmentalize, and deal with my um unexpressed rage. I said it before and it is true – no one explains narcissism like HG. Be well

I was just having a laugh with you ( and ok- on HG).

            Cool

  5. AME says:

Is there any resource you offer to explore the different sources more specifically in relation to intimate secondary partners?

    1. HG Tudor says:

Hello AME, there are plenty of articles concerning this across the blog.
