A Personal Jesus

A PERSONAL JESUS

I am your personal Jesus. I enter your life and bring light and healing. Have you been hurt and damaged by another who did not value the honesty, decency and truthfulness by which you lead your life? I will soothe your fevered brow and reassure you that you are a good person. I bring calm where there is confusion and misunderstanding. Listen to me as I explain to you how the world really is. I have created paradise. I will open its gates and let you gaze upon it. Feel the love, warmth and tranquillity flow from it. This is all yours. All you need to do is follow me. That is all I ask. Come with me and I will be your world. I am everywhere and understand everything. When you are feeling down I will call you and remind you of how wonderful you are. My angels will remind you through my text messages and love notes of how special you are. You have a place reserved in my heaven. I chose for it you.

If you feel that your journey through life has taken a wrong turn, let me guide you. If the road ahead seems dark and stony, do not be troubled. Climb onto my back and let me carry you. I am your angel and my wingspan is wide enough to protect both of us from the darkness that lurks in the world. Open your heart to me. Give it freely and it will prosper under my stewardship. Listen to my words. They are imbued with wisdom and you are welcome to keep them as watchword to your heart. For too long you have struggled alone. I am here to relieve your burden and show you the wonderful, beautiful perfect love that you deserve. Just take my hand and follow me.

I am your saviour.

  1. Cool. Broken Hearted Savior by Big Head Todd.. it was first up on one of my MANY play lists made by him for me. His beloved. Hated smashing those. Miss the damn songs. Too embedded with him. Collective Soul? Ditto. Purged forever. The “things” we give up. It seizes my power. Slowly. Then warp speed. Then stall out. Repeat. Eventually. Will get there one day. Wherever “there” is.

  2. You know what this sounds like? When the Phantom of the Opera is trying to get Christine to come back to his lair, and she’s like, “Uhhhh, I dunno, there was that whole shady drugging business back in Act 1, and you appear to be somewhat murdery…” and he’s like, “But babe, I am your ANGEL!”

  3. Dust still settling…..

And the reason His word has to be delivered via this type of psychological abuse is because if the people the victims tried to explain everything to all believed what we said, the narcs power would be removed because word would spread that they are not to be trusted, fuel would then dry up and His word (and therefore the deliverance of humanity into “goodness” and “the light”) would not happen.

Seriously what is going on inside my head today? Has anyone else ever thought this??

HG – are you reading my replies with a wry smile thinking at last she’s got it or are you thinking wow her Ex really did a good number on her?!!

What am I supposed to do with this?

  4. I meant *Just tumble*

    And actually….I “want” not “need”.
    So there.

  5. OK. I’m trying to order my thoughts but i think the words will jusr tunble out…..I mean absolutely no disrespect to anyone…..

I am not religious but….if I were and if I believed in God….what if narcissists were godlike, not cast from the devil.

Jesus bled and suffered – to save mankind yes? He walked the earth through us in order to continue teaching mankind lessons? (Sorry if I’m misrepresenting the bible from my childhood lessons of it at school)

What if the suffering narcissists are subjected to, and therefore pass on to the victim, is that very thing. Our salvation. The narc reflects what we have within us….all good at first, then we absorb his diabolical, we then reflect that back to him, he sees it and runs off to infect another…and as we then recover part of our realisation is what was “wrong” within us to begin with and therefore can start to heal and become a better person (hopefully) so the narc was “sent to us” in the first place to heal ourselves and then spread what we learnt (His word) so that others do not befall the same fate.

Am i suffering from extreme PTSD or is this the truth? The fact this has dawned on me today of all days – easter Sunday – does not escape me either. WTF.

    Anyone? HG?

I’m off to seek some normal through an easter egg hunt with my children but please post this HG….I need to hear thoughts from others out there. And you please.

  6. Amen to everything Debbie said! I do understand the analogy, though. I just don’t like the name of Jesus to be fooled around with or to be taken in vain. That said .. I have seen my particular narc act from the stage like he is the power and glory. People have remarked that he appears to have an angel of light around him. Those are nothing but stage lights from his extravagant light show, but even the devil can appear as an angel of light. I’m not fooled since he has lied in my face.

  7. Mona

I know what you mean..and all singing from a different hymm sheet half of the time sadly.

Best to be gentle if possible is my motto.
    If possible.

Have a lovely weekend Mona. 😊

    1. They are actually coming to my city in October. Going to see them. They may be a little worse for wear but should still be good. 😀

  8. Debbie, please do not misunderstand me. I respect every religion. If I wound you with my words, please excuse. This stage play I mentioned was played in a christian church. It was played to make the people think about their own belief. It was discussed in a church.

    1. Mona

No Mona.. Thank you for your comment.
      No offence at all.
      I mean the article.
      Not any commenter at all.
      It is the article.

Though an analogy and I can see how it is meant to portray a narcissist’s sweet talk I just think it is an analogy too far for me, particularly at Easter.

I am not a bible thumper nor a Catholic or attend church regularly or anything but I know who my Lord is.

      It is Jesus Christ.
I felt sick when I read the article. Analogy not withstanding.

I just recoiled and then commented.
Not everyone believes in God I understand that.
But I still had to say something because there can be no comparisons made on any level to Jesus Christ, for me at least.

And His name means loyality, hope, faith, truth, light, goodness and life and it is not to be tarnished in lies. Ever.
      For any reason.

This is a blog about narc abuse and enlightenment for victims.. so I will not digress onto something else here..suffice it to say that I had to comment at the time regarding my beautiful Saviour…The actual real one.. who died on the cross.

      He suffered and bled.
It is Easter at the moment.
Mankind did not know what they did back then…and today, some still do not know Him.
And they do not realise that His name is precious to some of us.

      1. Debbie, thank you for your quick answer. I am glad that I did not hurt your feelings. I learnt in my past that christians are very different. It depends on the christian church you belong to and in which country you live. … The european style, the american style, the russian style, the englisch style, the arabian style and so on. The catholic, the evangelical style (pretty much of them) , the coptic style.,the orthodox style…

  9. Oh no.
    This is going too far.

There is only one Jesus Christ.
    The crucified Son of God.

    He never ever betrays.
    He never abandons.
He is the Alpha and the Omega.
He is the Son of the living God.
    He is faithful.

No one can take His name.
No one who says he is of the Devil one minute cannot aspire to use His name like this.

Though I take the analogy meant here..it is a step too far to parade Jesus out this way on this blog.

His Name shalt not be taken in vain.
    The End.

    1. I completely agree, Debbie. I’m not a religions person, but I am extremely spiritual and I know without a doubt that I was led to this site by my Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you!!!

  10. Ouch, that was one thing I promised him. I am your personal Jesus. And of course he promised the same. One of us must have been Judas. But whom? Or were we both Judas? Or both Jesus?
    Interesting.
This reminds me of a stage play (one person). Judas defends himself why he betrayed Jesus. It is so convincing, that everyone in the end is of the opinion, that Judas was the person who was the one who created Christianity through his sacrifice. He was the one who “helped” Jesus.

  11. My soon to be ex—thank God!—currently has a prostitute living with him. Days before I left him, we had spent a year trying to overcome his cheating. He admitted to me that he went for the underdog, that he liked being their hero…and yes, he also used the word savior.

Sadly, he was my savior too.

Now, I am just waiting to hear about the engagement of Grandpa (my ex) and his 22 year old sugar baby (who still prostitutes on the side).

  12. Do you behave this way instinctively when there is a new victim or do you go through the process of deliberately thinking of developing scenarios that make you look like this and applying them?

Likewise, at the devaluation stage, do you consciously think “I’ll get fuel by sleeping in the other room/ ignoring her calls/ complaining about her/ etc.” or is it just an urge you must act on?

  13. Wow…how could we resist such a wonderful opportunity??? I have so many personal Jesuses, I must be extra blessed…
