Darlings and Demons

The narcissist moves amongst people and is often regarded as a wonderful person, a delight to be around and a positive darling. Few realise, at least, not until it is too late that he or she is the proverbial wolf in sheep’s clothing as those dead, coal-black eyes focus on their prey and they move in to ensnare their unwitting victim. The narcissist remains the perfect darling for some time until one day the demon is exposed and with it all the demonic and hateful forces that accompany the dark-hearted one. Here the narcissist provides you with further insight into what is going on in his or twisted mind. The key to achieving freedom from the narcissist is to understand him or her. To do this one must delve into his or her mind and see the world as the narcissist does, only then does the illogical suddenly become logical, the strange becomes familiar and the odd finally makes sense. Use this resource of observations and insights from the narcissist himself in order to understand and gain freedom, including a revelationary insight into how the narcissist knows what he or she is doing and why he wants to harness this understanding.

Hi HG. My ex narc says that he is being accused at his place of work that he stole a huge amount of money. He now needs me to type letters etc and help him to respond to these allegations. Do you think he has done it? Could it be untrue and that this is just a hoover or trying to check if he can still control me? Or draw my attention back to him? I don’t know what to make of this. Obviously I am pumping out a lot of fuel now to support him.

    1. HG Tudor says:

      Why even contemplate assisting him?

      1. He may well have done what he is accused of.
      2. He may well be making this up.
      3. Either way he is hoovering you because he wants your fuel and potentially your support, both of which he regards as his entitlement.

Reject his call for assistance. You do not need to explain. Just say you are not doing it.

      1. KT says:

Say for instance this story is true. Why not seek assistance/ support from his IPPS?

        1. HG Tudor says:

He obviously would do so for fuel and for support in avoiding blame, but that is not the issue. The issue is you have no obligation to assist him.

Tips on how to approach the situation. NC not possible for me

        1. NarcAngel says:

Then you should have a private consult with HG. He can address your issues personally and more comprehensively without you having to disclose everything here. I would spend a little time doing that over helping someone you say you cant escape from. HG may be able to help you expedite that also. Have you even thought that by helping your abuser that you may be assisting him abuse others (the allegations against him) and damaging your own reputation by assisting him? Good luck.

            Good points NA.

Hi Narc angel. Thanks for the advice. I am planning to consult with HG. It is true what you are saying re abusing others… The thing is I haven’t helped him in any way yet, only listening to him and empathising with hishis situation. I mean who wants an injured narc on your hands?? In the past he has hoovered me with pity plays so I don’t even know if it is true. He has been texting everyday for the past week, every day with another ailment. Maybe i did not act to the ailmentsailments to his liking and now he needs to go bigger. Early this morning he was texting about how he misses his late mom and how lonely he feels. I know this is hoovering but I am curious to know if it is purely for fuel or to draw me back in his cycle.
Thanks for not being judgy like some other people. Follow my eyes. lol

Have just watched Miss Sloane. Hate to say, but glad to see some female ‘Greaters’ even though it’s only a fictional character.
