I enjoyed reading HG’s perception and was impressed by the accuracy of his assessment of Trump.
I agree that there are components of Trump that are easy to admire, but despite party affiliations, surely one can also see that the man, in many ways, is a hot mess!
There continues to be a bit of disruption here as Trump keeps so many stirred and on edge. Reading the transcripts of his conversations with President Enrique Peña Nieto and Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull was almost comical. In true narcissistic fashion, protecting the ego seemed to be Trump’s priority.
Still, he has some sound ideas and a fierce desire to succeed, and HG did a fantastic job of explaining such. But those narcissistic injuries HG spoke of…. spot on. I now hear the term “fake news” in general conversation more than I ever thought I would!
And while all the current talk here is about Senator Franken, here’s a post from within the hour:
“(CNN) A resolution to start the process of impeaching President Donald Trump was tabled Wednesday, following a push from Democratic Rep. Al Green of Texas to force such a vote on the House floor.
The vote was 364-58 and was not directly on the resolution, rather a vote to table the proposal.
The move to impeach was not supported by Democratic leaders, who have pushed aside the idea of impeaching the President.”
Whatever our opinions, we must ride it out. He’s here to stay. I just hope he doesn’t Hoover us in 2020.

After reading all of that…I am not sure what kind of Narcissist he was….but…I just know he was calm and collected and fearless and intelligent…and didn’t show any physical aggression or cuss at me….never called me names….never shouted….never raised his voice….any agression he did show was covert and disquised and took me awhile to catch on to….now when devaluation started it wasn’t how he said things or any aggression….it was what he would say that really disturbed me….and he always said it with such calmness….I don’t think I could have ever provoked him even if I wanted…..now I could provoke him and he would act out later and covertly but not so at the point of his anger which he kept to himself and hidden….he would show me some not so happy facial expressions…and give me the look….a look of displeasure….but the man was just calm! I did most of if not all of the talking and he listened and NEVER interrupted which is what I have the worst habit of doing…..he was very intelligent and I am 100% sure about that! And I knew he was smarter than me….and he had ALOT of patience…,,honestly I had never met a man that was like that….even once when we were walking in downtown when we were spending a weekend actually 4 days together….we were walking down the street and we were headed towards our destination and there was a crazed maniacal homeless man who appeared to be quite deranged and we were walking and the man was not too far behind us and I said I’m kinda worried about that guy….he is starting to scare me come on let’s walk faster! Please! And the man was yelling and cursing and like all that….and I was like ….is he yelling at us …? Come on let’s go! And he said with the calmest look on his face…..that man is talking to the voices in his head! He is not talking to us! And immediately I was in awe at his total lack of fearlessness….and it was at night! So I forgot all about the man and was now just starting in awe at him….! Not one bit of fear! Anyways I’ll stop rambling on about him….but yeah it’s just hard to really know which one he is….but it doesn’t matter anymore as he is gone and I am discarded and probably forgotten all about….which I’m sure is for the best!
Its funny that u mentioned the man talking to himself because I just had this conversation with my nine year old we live in the city and she was scared because a man was talking to himself and I calmy explained to her he hears voices in his head and in most cases I don’t know why but when people hear voices they’re usually mean and the man is just reacting to the voices , as far as your narc discarding you hell most likely be back I was discarded twice and hoovered twice lol look out

Well it was dark and both of us were not familiar with the area and we were just walking and he was behind us and it was scary lol….I mean seriously I felt this fear inside me as he seemed to be pointing and getting closer and closer….I felt the urge to run lol….anyways…and yeah not sure about him coming back or trying to reach me ever again…because I think he’s the type that has too much pride for that! And really that is best….because I mean it’s not like I can help him or have anything productive with him as he has already proven that to me…but yeah I would be super shocked if he ever reached out to me again….I’m not holding my breath….plus as I said….what good would it do….and I have said soooo much to him and yeah….thanks for your input. 🙂 I have always been the weak one in our connection….he had always been the strong resistant one…..and it’s not like I could ever trust him again.

Ur narc is fearless becoz they don’t have that emotion of fear. Hg states he fears nothing, he never gets nervous. So, it is not that ur nex is being calm and collected, it is his sociopathy coming to the fore. His disorder is showing.

I said in the last one I think he’s an upper midranger but I feel he also has a lit of qualities of an upper greater without the financial success .he owns a grocery store but is known and loved in his city by everyone who shops there and is known and loved by everyone in his mosque but I personally feel like I’m the only one who knows how dark evil and malevolent he really is inside I know he would destroy an enemy in a heartbeat or me without a second thought but everyone thinks he’s a great guy but I know inside he’s extremely depraved so its very confusing for me to determine what he is

I KNEWWWW IT, I KNEWWW IT! Once again, HG hits the nail on the head! I have positively identified my lower greater narcissist! He is of the ‘lower’ school of the greaters, but a greater nonetheless!
I have a question, HG. Would you say that over time, a narcissist can ‘evolve’ into a better narcissist, so to speak? I have known mine since childhood, and though we weren’t always in constant contact…he always had quite a reputation…and I always heard of his antics and actions over the years. Just from what I know, prior to our romanruc relationship… it seems he had become a lot better at his hustle..much more covert and manipulative than in his younger years. From all that I gather, he is most definitely a greater…but was he always? Or did he sort if work his way up the ladder?
A narcissist will not shift schools but there can indeed be an improvement and refinement in the various manipulations used.
