“I need to know exactly where you are and control of all your money so that I can take care of you.” “You can’t take care of yourself.” “You’re not very good with money and besides, your talents lie elsewhere (wink)” “I’ll take care of our money.” “Take the money out of your retirement 401k at work because it’s not safe there, and you Can retire next yearHaven’t I always taken care of you?”
Yes, Richard , you sure “took care” of me, didn’t you. You took everything, including almost $100,000 of mine that didn’t belong to you, hiding it bit by bit over three years, leaving me $12,000 in debt with $163 in the bank.
All these guns in the memes are scary. I grew up around guns with my dad who hunts but never felt good around them. It surprises me how many have them in the home and carry them. No judgement but its not something you see a lot of here.
I still cant wrap my head around the fact a parent can be out to get their child but on so many different levels they do.
Narc Affair
If you grow up with guns everywhere, they don’t bother you. They’re just to be expected. My father no longer hunted, but he started teaching me how to shoot and about gun safety at 7 (many children start here at 5).
Guns are like cars here. Everybody has at least one. Nobody’s afraid of them, but we all know they can be deadly and that there are rules you have to follow about them so you don’t get hurt or killed. If you hadn’t grown up with cars everywhere and you didn’t understand about traffic laws, cars would probably make you uneasy, too.
Hi windstorm…ty for your reply. I did grow up around guns and my dad had me gopher target shoot with a rifle. I feel guilt over that but i was young. I do know in the USA its very common to have guns and carry them in your purse etc but i dont like them. Too many kiddos used to violent video games have access to them or accidental shootings etc. I dont judge those that have them and i know its a touchy subject but for me our home will always be gun free. It is very different here in Canada where theyre not as common in households. My dad still owns quite a few.
I grew up with guns. I hate them. And am afraid of them. There is nothing ok about lethal force in a tiny device hoarded under the guise of hunting. We have grocery stores for food.
