…..no more icicles HG?
They are wedged in a former IPPS, I will let you know when they come free.
That made me laugh…I meant of course here on these series of The Narcissistic icicles HG…
All in good time SX.
HG I remember in an earlier post you said that Hoovers are common during holidays and birthdays. Is it just the empath’s Birthday that an trigger or is it also the narcissists own birthday? This weekend is my ex’s birthday and I am just wondering if he is likely to try to reach out.
Both anniversaries are likely to cause Hoover Triggers as a consequence of you entering the sixth sphere of influence.
Hg my ex fits a midranger perfectly except he didn’t ever do dramatic silent treatments. I don’t remember him doing one at all but I do remember him freaking out yelling like a marine at me like 5 times in the year and a half we dated. Does the lack of silent treatments mean he is probably a lesser or can a mid not use cold fury?
Silent treatments can be used by all schools but are used most by the Mid Range Narcissist and are a key indicator. Nevertheless, if there are plenty of other Mid Range indicators, the absence of using silent treatments does not mean that person is not Mid Range. It may also be the case that you are given silent treatments but you may not necessarily realise.
Narcissists never trust bc they can never be trusted themselves.
That’s so true narc affair. I spent almost three years defending myself vigorously from all the accusations that were thrown my way; I never had the time to think about the fact that I couldn’t trust him, that he wasn’t ever to be trusted, that in just uttering this disbelief in me he should’ve convincingly made his dark intentions clear to me. I’ll be forever and for the rest of my life very sensitive to these kind of bullying accusations that seem to determine my behaviour; tell me what I’ve done, what I’m thinking and what I’m feeling. They were part of a pathological mind game; not in any way true to who I am. His was a sick reality that swallowed me whole and trying to defend myself against him was part of the master plan of accepting that his reality was the law to which I abided. Ugh!
Ugh… yeah. Heard it.
It wasn’t true…
