I’m 25 years in with my Narc I did not discover that NPD was the root of the issue until 2016. Since my realization I have read and studied everything I can find on the subject. I am.currently trying to go back in time, remembering certain instances to determine what the Narc’s point of view might have been. This hopefully will give me some onsite on future encounters. There is one major event that I can not seem to understand.
I had needed to make an exchange of an item at a store located in a very busy part of a major city. We were in the area so the Narc agreed to drop me off at the store which was located on a corner. He told me as I got out of the car that he would circle around the block and pick me up on the residential side street. I entered the store, completed the exchange and walked out of the store, turned to my right and walked 10 steps to the corner. I stood there for what seemed like an eternity, fear welling up inside me. I walk down the side street searching. Nothing. Then suddenly our car appeared coming around the far corner on 2 wheels. The Narc was driving fast and erratically. The car screeched to a stop in front of me. I got in and found the narc in full rage. As it turned out he had found a place to park on the busy main street. He parked in a spot that was apparently about 5 or 6 cars up the street to the left of the store. He was angry because I had not found him. 5 hours later he was still raging.
Please tell me what the wound was.

You were with him for such a long time, so you were stale but I also think it may have been about total control. Check out The 5 DevaluationTriggers and # 11 Blame-Shifting on Mind Games part 1.
