My ex-husband would constantly tell me no one liked me, and my own family did not love me and if I ever left him I would have no one because my family loved him more than they loved me.
Unrelated…but i missed seeing the poll this week. I got thinking a cool one would be which 3 HG articles were your favorite and impacted you the most and why. Just a suggestion. Id be curious to see what people choose.
These narc parent Memes really make me sick! My mums been narcisisstic but never so verbally abusive. Hers was more devaluing covertly and gaslighting. Who says things like this to their children? Nasty 🙁
The Ex GN would say this to me. He would use my Ex Husband and Ex Boyfriends instead.
What a Asshole! He knew I had a good family,
and he was jealous of it.
My father didn’t leave me; my narcissist mother harpy pushed him out. It was my job, the reason for my existence to defend her against all of the people in the world because they were all her enemies, including my friends, boyfriends, relatives, teachers, and everyone else. They were all against us.
Still pisses me off. Why didn’t I ask “So why did your mother leave you?”
