Hi
Is it possible that narcissist contacts me after the discard becauase he truly cares for me and thinks that being friendly with me and subtly letting me know that he is dating someone else will help me in moving on?
He acts this way towards me. But I do not contact him and I am too proud to show him that I am devastated by the discard. I try to act like nothing happened. But he keeps contacting me and he tries to give me that vibe that he wants to make sure I am ok and also wants me to know he is dating so I will know there is no way for us to get back together. Should I appreciate that? Does he really want me to move on? Would he keep contacting me every week if he was in golden period right now? Or is it a game?
I believe he is a mid range narcissist.

Hi HG,
Is an Initial Grand Hoover only initiated with a primary source?
Thanks in advance.
No, but it is mainly for the IPPS.
HG, as I have been receiving passive hoovers since before Christmas and these hoovers are of absolute minimum effort on his part and he doesn’t even know if they are being received or ignored. Obviously the HEC have been met in some way for these to be occurring. As they are of minimum effort and at no risk of him putting himself really out there in an obvious way to be injured, he would now have to do something more as his current minimum passive tactics are not getting a response. If the HEC continues to happen ongoing or intermittently , will he then risk more obvious hoovers that will risk injury to him if he’s again ignored or rejected ? He’s playing it pretty safe with his hoovers ? Thanks
He can hoover all he wants. There is nothing left to pick up.
(And, therefore, he will not hoover again after all.)
