Our country is on fire and now an unstoppable fire on Kangaroo Island…where sea lions inhabit
500 million animals have perished, (included 8,000 koalas)
So far 12 million acres of land have been burnt (5 million hectares)
Over 4,000 people are being evacuated (people are still trapped and can’t get out) our defence force is in operation
Roughly 20 deaths, mainly injured
Smoke has filled the air that we breath affecting so many
Our neighbours daughter lives in an area where a fire broke out just yesterday
It’s just insane !

All the people loosing everything they own it is so very sad, but it is the animals Bubbles that just break my heart, especially the Koalas! I have been following Port Macquarie Koala Hospital for updates and it truly does not look very good for the gentle creature. Australia Zoo, the home of the Irwin family in Queensland have treated over 90,000 patients 🐨in their wildlife hospital …..truly unbelievable !

Dear Bubbles, Yes, that is truly impressive! From the links you and AnneB sent, I also found the work of “WIRES” (wildlife rescue) and RSPCA very helpful. The latter helps wildlife and domestic animals effected by the fires. I gave to all. It is a drop in the bucket given the enormity, but I was encouraged to read that many tens of millions have been raised so far and that all states will benefit.

As for those who have died that way and all the animals that have perished in agony, well I think we as humans just turn our thoughts elsewhere in order to protect ourselves emotionally. Assess the Narc through the Narc Detector as part of your defences. Speak with me to assess your no contact regime because from your comment I can see it is not complete no contact.

I looked at watermelon sour patch kids yesterday and thought of you! Not one sour patch kid for 6 months is my resolution! It’s not my fault for wanting them. Why can’t I have just one serving? Why must it be half the bag?
I don’t like the watermelon SPK. But oh I love the others! The top of my mouth is still sore from all the SPK I ate as comfort food while I was healing. 🤣🤣
Omg the watermelon ones are like crack! Except I’ve never had crack but I think it’s the same. I’m hitting the gym hard for 10 weeks before an excursion, but I believe I have the flu and I’m having to use an inhaler. I’m kinda stuck for a few days. I have to work with a mask today but only for four hours. No more candy!
Yuk! I can’t even stand the smell of watermelon, or cucumbers! 🤢
I eat both substances. Cucumbers probably every other day in salads. They sell mini ones in a bag at my grocery and I buy two bags a week. Watermelon infrequent but the sour patch kids don’t taste like watermelons from the earth. It’s more a sour sugary event.
I also can’t believe dick pics is still a featured top hit! I can’t stand men taking pics of their genitals. Ugh. Double ugh.
