HG, Narcs vary in how much they satisfy my addiction. The Somatic satisfied my addiction. I disregarded the previous ensnarements as soon as I met him.
There were other Narcs at my sport. Similar. We paired up when the Somatic wasn’t there. It didn’t satisfy me. The Somatic was most Grandiose and used hand gestures, interesting speech, attractive facial expressions. He had the presence my addiction craved the most.
Next time you engage the “White Hunter tom” tell him to call me…that sounds like something new might be worth a spin. Note taken to give him a manicure first, then puff up his tail.
If his nature is as I suspect, he has potential for good thumping…you have to watch the dismount as that type tend to have a powerful lacerating hind kick; reminicent to a .45 if you are not prepaired it can set you on your ass.

HG, it seems a lot of us observe these comments on the blog. Personally I’m not particularly interested in engaging. At most once or twice but I quickly lose interest as I find it all rather dull.
What I am interested in though about this type of individual, is where they sit exactly in terms of school/cadre what their fuel matrix would look like.. I presume lower/mid middle? Their behavior is obvious on the blog, more so than other mids perhaps, but how would that manifest in real life? would all of these very obvious attacks be targeted at colleagues etc? or would they manage their facade differently in RL?

Interesting concept H.G., however I have a different spin on this, Why on Earth would I ever want to get rid of this “feeling” this feeling of PURE HATRED? It was clouded by my emotional Empathic side…terribly clouded. The POWER that courses through my body from the source of PURE HATRED has rejuvenated it in ways modern medicine could never do. Beautiful and raised by a narc mom she was forced to excel—beauty pageants etc. She ended up committing crimes with an obvious narc boyfriend. Life ruined, still with him of course. Chained isn’t a strong enough term. Is Alastor an empath? How else does one achieve such unwavering devotion? Mired between his world and having a conscience. Once this mission is completed you then can ice canoe for several thousand miles up to Eureka for the Oak Coffee. Their muffins are all the rage per google reviews. Did you see The Joker with Joaquin Phoenix? He gets access to records that detail the horrific abuse that he suffered as a child and in the report he reads that his mother (Frances Conroy: American Horror Story) is Narcissistic personality disordered. It’s really sad!

Both of my parents are/were narcissists and two of my siblings are narcissists. We had the same LOCE but a different outcome so the deciding factor has to be GPD. Imagine if WE were the narcissists and they were the empaths.

Lorelei, What makes you believe Karla is an empath? I’m interested in your thoughts. I don’t know anything about her, but one look into her eyes and she doesn’t look like an empath to me. But I have not basis, rationale etc for my observation other than her eyes look distinctly evil. That said, in photos of myself I think I generally look warm and friednly. I have one photo however where my eyes look pretty evil and dead!!! I recall pre empath detector with HG that I kept thinking about this photo and whether I had dead eyes and was a narc. so you can’t always tell just from appearances.
I think she was a (maybe) co-dep potentially that went along with what he did and passively assisted out of her need to feed her own addiction, and that she simply couldn’t not or leave him.. I don’t think it was necessarily a narc/narc collaboration. She scored almost nothing on the traditional style testing to indicate her own (potential lack of) psychological deviance. To be very clear—I’m not pointing fingers at an empath or potential empath, this came to mind due to reading Chained and attributing characteristics to a friend I grew up with. She is not a narcissist but assisted in a theft and other things with a narcissist, she is in fact, desperately collided with. I’ve always wondered about Karla and the opinions on specialists that evaluated her. They collectively believed she was not a danger to society. I think it’s possible that some of us get to this point by means of the need to be with the narcissist above all else. I believe there are empaths that will allow their children to be terribly abused and turn a blind eye like my mother did. She indicated to me once she would do something awful (to me) if my dad ever left her. The need to feed the addiction to the narcissist is extremely pathological in its own right. I can see what I allowed. The psychological effects in my home were dimmed because they had to be for me to perceive life in such a way to keep my own addiction nourished. Would I have ever let my ex sexually abuse (it was passive or implied but she had to know and deny it) or beat the kids? No I believe I would have snapped out of it, but my mother did it/allowed it. Was she a bad person. No. She was addicted. Will a heroin addict give her daughter away to a dealer? Yes. Is this person a narcissist? I think we have some questions that need answers! This only came to mind after reading the book. This is in no way a pointing of fingers at my mother or my friend. I’ll always love them both. It is also a moment of empathy for someone who can align in such a way to allow such behaviors, it’s not a pointing of fingers to shame behaviors.

There were two huge cases in the UK of couple serial killers which HG has commented on in the past, one Ian Brady and Myra Hindley, Many people had commented that Myra had been led astray by Brady and there was a huge campaign for her to be released from prison. And to some degree it was an addiction/codependency on Brady. I too was taken in by her apparent false contrition. Somewhere on this blog HG confirmed she is a mid. I seem to recall that he also commented that whilst she would have been unlikely to have committed these acts if she had never met Brady, she is an N. It is also possible for a mid to be co-dependent on another N as in the case of Hilarly Clinton on Bill (obv not serial killers, just an example of a couple), again I learned about her codependency on Bill from HG.
The other case, Fred and Rose West again a couple – serial killers, to me Rose was an evil and willing participant in the murders, from everything I have read and the documentaries I have watched she seemed to enjoy a sick perversion in killing/torturing the victims and there is some evidence that she killed one victim (from memory, I believe Fred’s ex-wife, I could be wrong on that though) whilst Fred was in prison for an unrelated matter. However, HG has confirmed Rose was not an N. Of course I trust what HG says to be accurate, but I also struggle to see how she is not the evil person portrayed by the media.
I would most definitely be interested in an article on any serial killer couples where there is an empath – likely co-d who forms one of the couple.
It is interesting indeed. And Hilary is a good example of CD on Bill. Chelsea seems normal which a nice attribute of their relationship. I just finally figured out my ceiling project design after looking at a few dozen photos—my ADD is impacting serial killing. Karla Homolka is most likely a Narcissistic psychopath.
Hard to think of Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo as anything other than narcissist psychopaths colliding if you’re familiar with the case, but she maintained she was controlled by him (especially after the accidental death of her sister at their hand that he supposedly held over her) and some believe that. It has raised debate about how far someone will go while under someone else’s control. In fact it spurred an interesting and unforgettable conversation with my own mother.

It really is NA. HG just replied going pretty far. It puts a really profound perspective on this as an addiction. I’m guessing (just a guess) that had my father actually touched me (and he never did) that my mother still would not have left. He was unbelievable. When the Karla/Paul thing was happening my mother made the statement that it was amazing how two monsters the same had found each other. I asked her how she was so sure Karla was a monster and not being controlled. She responded no one but a monster could be persuaded to go along to the extent that she did or even look the other way. But what if it happened slowly over time I asked? She insinuated (ok said) that I must be nuts if I believed that. I then asked her if when she started the relationship with SN if she thought that he would ever be mean to her. Then, if she ever thought she would tolerate being hit by him. Then beaten badly by him…she interjected with that is different. That there were limits. I went on: did you ever think you would be embarrassed by him, make excuses and cover for him. No she said (agitated). I said: well you seem to keep moving the bar, is that not possible in the case of Karla? No! she replied (even more annoyed but we were in public) but I would never have let it go that far! There are limits! Well mother, did you ever think you would allow him to abuse your children…Stop it! Stop this right now! she uttered in a low voice while looking around. Mother? are you a monster?

I am not a super strong—but I would have beaten the fuck out of him had he ever touched the kids. With that said—I tolerated psychological impacts that hurt the kids that others would not have. It’s not a judgement statement, I just know where my trigger rests. We each have strengths and weaknesses.
