This aspect of narcissism has explained so many things that have puzzled me. Even when I was a kid I wondered why certain teachers didn’t seem to realize how phony they sounded, how obviously contrived their mood changes were. As Hugo says of Mme. Thenardier, when she abruptly stops bullying Cosette in front of Jean Valjean and starts goo-gooing at her, “Gross natures have this in common with naïve natures, that they possess no transition state.”

Here’s a comment I posted on one of HG’s videos on yt:

It’s clear now why some narcissists do the same thing over and over, no matter how self-defeating it seems to anybody else. Neurologist Oliver Sacks described a victim of brain damage who didn’t have a concept of “left” anymore. To eat her meals, she had to rotate her wheelchair clockwise and start eating when she saw her food to the right again. She’d repeat until she got most of it. She simply could not recognize food to the left or turn her wheelchair, her eyes, or her head in that direction.
Amber, unlike the unfortunate and thoroughly frustrated neurology patient, doesn’t sense anything is missing. She’s never known anything else.

This assessment is where I’ve landed also. The neurology patient is a great example. As a result of thinking this, I have also wondered what I’m missing, things I don’t know are missing. I can’t change what I don’t see.

    A haiku for Amber:

    My dog stomped a bee
    Manager’s mesh shirt NOT tank
    Then, life was normal.

      This is very good. 😂

Thank you, A Victor. Narcsite provides constant inspiration.

Fkg hell, HG, this is one of the ‘top shelf’ videos. Absolutely fantastic, so much detail just to explain how the narcissism just CANNOT SEE IT. Your work on MM and her narcissism was really insightful, yet you are showing Amber Heard to be one unbelievable individual. There is a lot of people that are ‘WTF are we seeing here?!’. Yes, it is so laughable too.

I loved your work on the Will and Jada Smith, and I have no doubt this Depp / Heard series is going to be even more beneficial to those learning about narcissism. Absolutely top notch work, HG, thank you xxx

Her testimony is ridiculous. Its so canned, its as though she has read everything on DV and parrots what she has read almost verbatim. She’s nuts. My ex was the same way during our divorce.

This is a great comment, Sarah 🙂

HG, I have to say Amber Heard who has been diagnosed borderline and histrionic, held it together pretty well during cross examination barely even breaking a sweat. But comparing that Amber Heard to the Amber Heard that was seen and heard on the tapes there are two different variations. In your opinion HG, would you agree with the diagnosis of Amber Heard or would you say she is comorbid with anything else or not.

    1. HG Tudor says:

Watch my video “Is She a Histrionic and a Borderline.”

Great, thanks HG. Have to say finding this series brilliant.

Speaking of rope…the last two times that I had Zoom court, I set my shoulder bag…with a thick rope strap…just inside the shot, on the door handle of my son’s bedroom closet. (The best room for Zoom court due to less street noise.)

It simply pleased to me know it could be seen without anyone knowing it’s significance.

WhoCares, your last sentence amused me 🙂
